    My daughter's name is Laurie-Anne. On my android phone, I usually type L-A. Would it be possible (as I do on my ipad) to create shortcut, so I would type "laa" (example) and her name would appear ?

  4. Doesn't support quiet time - android 9

    Samsung S9+, after upgrade from 8.0 to 9.0, textra does not mute during quiet time / hours.

    I've made sure it is obeying phone rules, yet is still defies to apply.

    Please aid.

  7. Add filter by acount to contacts

    HI,

    could you add filter contact In search by account for example: Gmail, Hotmail, Phone, Skype etc. In Phone on android 8, BlackBerry KEYone In my case search for all acounts (doubles from Skype, revault, whatsup etc.) its take 15- 20 seconds than 1 -2 seconds. We have this bug for half year and we dont think So that BlackBerry Will fix.

  9. Vibrate bypass

    a feature that is able to bypass the phones vibrate or silent setting would be amazing. I work as a first responder and we get our responses on our phones and many people keep their phones on vibrate/silent all the time, which is fine during the day, but at night it would be very helpful if I could keep all my other messages and notifications on vibrate but the number that sends us our responses bypasses vibrate and is an actual ringtone.

  10. Do not disturb support

    Work with stock Android's "Do Not Disturb" mode to not vibrate or make a sound in "alarms only", and "priority only" depending on the contact.

    First write SMS as a concept and second write number a recipient and send him SMS...

    if multiple messages are sent in a short time, the bubbles "morph" together as seen in Facebook Messenger and Android Messenger, and oy don't group after receiving a text or not sending one for a few minutes. The helps identify gaps in the conversation at a glance.

  14. Fetch icons for known IDs

    It would be nice if the app could automatically fetch badges or icons for popular or known messages sending IDs. For instance banks or E-tailers like Amazon or other known institutions. It would be easier to identify such messages if it were automated.

    Currently you have to go inside the about menu to re-optimize, recommend this be a scheduled action, weekly, and that the issue of contacts be coming corrupted be self correcting
