turn off emoj
the idea is thay every keyboard noe days comes with emojis and smileys. so why not give us the option to turn of textra emoji? it feels redundant to habe emojis in my keyboardand in textra it self.

change themes so the colors don't pass the notification bar.
My notification bar is transparent, so when I choose a color theme, the notification bar changes that color as well. It's just too much of the same color!

Possibility of renaming a group conversation
instead of having all the names of the people in the conversation, it could be great if you could rename the conversation like "buddies" and then when selecting it see all people who are in it.

Hide/block images option
It would be awesome if there were a way to long press on an image and hide it; alternatively, bock reception of images altogether as a configurable option.

A button "Select all" in the conversation list and in conversations.
Deleting all the messages of a conversation excepting just a few can be very very long without it...

Mark all messages in a thread as read.
Currently many threads still have the green triangle next to them but I have no way of marking all messages in that thread as read.

include number of recipients in group chat headers
so we don't have to open the chat and check who's in it. For people with multiple group chats it gets confusing in the message list

have to unlock phone to respond
should have the option to have to unlock phone to be able to respond. shouldn't be able to just click and it allows you to respond if you have a lock on your lock screen.

Add ability to search a contacts name, not just content of text messages.
add ability to search a contacts name in the search feature. if I type "Chris" it only searches for that text in the actual text message and not the contact's name.
