  2. Reaction emoji options

    we should have more reaction emoji options. the basic five do not get the job done and require text answers, when a reaction would suffice. Android and iPhone both have this and all major messaging apps handle it . please update

  3. Separate tab/group for verification codes

    Having the app automatically sort 2-factor authentication texts into their own easily accessible area of the app to keep them separate from personal text messages and reduce clutter would be delightful.

  6. Delete sent messages

    It would be great if you could make it so that we can delete sent messages before they are read.
    I just read an article talking about how Google has added this to their message app

    Sometimes there are a million different group chats involving almost the same group of people in different combinations and permutations. It would be awesome to set a name for those chats, like Google Messenger can do!

  12. Sort conversations option

    I would love the ability to sort the conversations on my main screen through different parameters. By default they're sorted by time of last message. Sometimes I would want to sort alphabetically so I can find conversations easier, especially when looking for numeric conversations from 2-factor authentication apps or marketing texts so I can quickly delete them.

  13. Please do not implement RCS!

    The lack of RCS support is why I'm using textra. If it is implemented, please make it optional!! I don't want other people deleting messages they have sent me from my phone.

    why, oh why.. can i only mark messeges as "unread" from the preview? and not from the "main-app"
    And why not put a reminder alarm for really importent things? As a reminder for whats in the message.

  17. Saved Color Palette Swaps

    I think a neat idea for customization would be a way to set and save "color palettes" or colorways to easily swap between different color combination customizations, rather than having to manually set each element color each time. Would make creating different themes and setting back to them easier in the future.
