  1. Keep chat open

    When closing out of the app directly from a chat, it would be nice to come back to where you left off in the chat instead of defaulting to the main screen every time you reopen the app

  2. Categorizing Contacts and Groups in Messages

    One thing I miss from the starter messaging app is you can group Contacts. For my work, I have Contacts that are business related and then my personal people, as I think many people do. Using those categories to find your people or messages quicker helps efficency so much. It's nice to be able have different areas for text messages than just one big one with everything. Would be 100% happy rather than my (still very good) 90% happiness.

  3. Categories

    If Textra does it, please keep the individual categories separate from the all-in-one. If they are all together in one, it defeats the purpose of having categories and is especially confusing.

  4. trash recovery

    your excuses for not creating a trash folder are poor and disappointing. if you can recovery text for 20 seconds then it can be moved to a folder for recovery. a scheduled backup doesn't help if you delete right after receiving by mistake or just want to review your deleted. looking elsewhere for an app after all these years is sad

    new android version....when adding a contact from a new message it will only allow to add from existing contacts

    it could be useful to sort by the most recent conversation date or by the date the number was added to. the blocked numbers list, in descending order. thank you.

  7. contact group tabs

    Samsung is discontinuing their message app. I'm looking for a feature that has tabs at the top for certain contact groups: family, friends, co-workers, etc. So when I tap a tab it'll only show texts of people within that group and each group's tab functions as a separate panel/pane.

  8. Pair with Themes

    What if there was a pair with Samsung Themes? Allow Textra to match the themes people apply with Themes? That would so cool! It's what the people forced to leave Samsung Messages would really appreciate.

  12. Add more "Keep" texts

    The Keep feature is amazing for taking quick notes, bookmarks, photos, gifs, etc. But we only have one.

    What if we can add additional Keep texts/conversations so that we can organize it for each category we'd like? For example, I can use a Keep text for personal notes or reminders, a separate Keep text for work related notes, a separate Keep text for links, etc. With the ability to name the conversation something other than "Keep" for organization.
