  1. Blocking option for dual SIM & +

    Currently the auto blocking option does not care about which SIM card the message is coming from. It should be possible to set blocking rule sperately for each SIM. Same for other SIM dependant option.

    the current search function returns all instances of a word/phrase from all contacts. the ability to search within messages from a single group chat and/or a single contact would be useful

  3. Mark as unread.

    It's been described many times but I can only vote for those ideas once and it's been years, and I literally think about this 3 times a week. I would pay an additional one time fee to have this feature. The ability to simply mark a read text as "unread".

  4. Emoji

    When I paid for the app, I lost the capability to emoji images/photos sent in a text. I would like to see that capability added to the paid version of Textra. I would also like the ability to chose from my keyboard emojis instead of just the 5 options currently provided.

  5. Background Customization

    Message+ allowed you to put a picture as a background to all the conversations. It would also let you put different backgrounds behind specific conversations. It was the only texting app that had that feature I hope Textra can implement this feature!

    I sent the wrong text to the wrong person. they are now convinced that I sent it to them. Can we please, please, please have the unsend option? I will beg! Gosh, that is so embarrassing, and I now have no way to correct it! I can't stress this enough, WE NEED UNSEND PLEASE!

  15. Block calls and text not in address book

    I keep getting spam messages about Trump. I've tried texting "stop" to end the texts, but they won't stop. Each one is from a brand new number so blocking individually is pointless. And reporting them to 7726 doesn't seem to have done anything, either. It's so tiresome. I used to use a messenger that blocked numbers not in the address book. It had separate modes for calls and texts so I could block one or both methods of communication. Which helped immensely, but it also didn't send pics and didn't do group chats.   16. Custom Backgrounds

    Add a feature that allows us to set a background image as a basic background in our chat. Also make it so each chat can have its own separate set background image. we could set a picture of our loved one we are talking to this way making it more personal with the chat/texting.

  19. PDF Support

    Please add support for viewing PDF files. If a PDF is received you have to switch the texting client away from Textra to view the file and there is no awareness in Textra that this file type has been received.
