I've seen a few apps where you can swipe from the edge of the screen to switch between message threads more quickly. this would make it much easier to text multiple people in rapid succession

delete messages time frame
instead of simply deleting messages based on how many, how about deleting messages based on a preset time limit? For example, the messages disappear after 1 day, or 1 hour. etc.

MMS Delivery
Include videos along with pictures when you hit the gallery button. It's redundant having to select the gallery icon to bring up the pictures, then select the gallery icon in the first slot of pics, then click gallery once more so it will open the gallery on your phone, and then click the camera folder all so you can see, pick, and send a video.

an adjustable title bar would be nice. I'm trying to make Textra look stock as possible on my s8 as it rocks but I like things to be uniform. an option to get rid of it completely would be nice too, it could be a pro feature

I really enjoy your app have been using it for over a year. one thing I would like to see is that if an address is sent it will link to Gmail like is done in Android messenger.

option to hide contact name when opening conversation
have the option to hide contact name at the top when opening a conversation and only show they're picture, and one more thing... to be able to change color of contact name in conversation at the top too

Emojis in dock
So textra has support for the emojis, but i cant input them cuz they arebt in the emoji keyboard of the app. this should be fixed.

Improve the "Light" look
The dark and black themes look great which is what I use daily. But looking at the light theme and comparing it to something like android messages makes it bad. It's almost too white just doesn't work with the colors I've seen.

Configurable mark as read button / rich notification buttons.
Please let me hide the button on the notification that says "mark as read/unread" and go back to just the reply button on my notification, especially if I don't have marking notifications as read on dismiss turned on to keep notification bar clutter to a minimum

Quick Response Buttons
This feature allows you to key in a (frequently used) texting phrase (Example: "Ok") in the settings menu. Now when you enter a texting page, you should see a button located above the keyboard with the phrase you had typed in earlier. When you press the button, the phrase will be entered into the Texting Box and will be waiting for the send button confirmation to send.
