  1. Add tagging or folder functions to organize out of control inboxes!

    add the ability to either tag contacts an atom's to certain groups or folders so that one can easily navigate and find personal messages, family messages, promotional messages, one time codes Etc.

  6. Find a workaround to bring back colored (customizable, even), notification icons!!

    I realize it was removed due to new Google Play Store requirements and Android changes, but there must be a way to have our color notification icons back!
    I wud love to take it a step further & be able to choose our own colors & even out own icons (preferably from other icons packs we've already bought and own or that are already on our phones/ systems. After all they're just .png files.

  7. Import SMS Function

    Add an "Import SMS"
    It will help people to restore from backed up SMSs, when they change mobile.
    Just due to lack of this function I'm using another app which has such option.
    but I really want that Textra comes soon with such function.

  13. details folder for saving MMS media

    others have already posted about this, but it would be awesome to be able to choose the MMS save folder. having to go into the Textra media folder in a file browser and cut/paste to a standard folder like Pictures or even DCIM is really easy to forget. I've lost a lot of pics because of the default location

  14. More solid colours for background

    I'm a long time user of Textra (paid version) and I love it so much!

    I would love to be able to use new colours for both the background and the notifications. For example, instead of choosing the grey background, I could use a dark blue. As my upper bar is blue, it would fit perfectly. And the notification would look better, too!

    Thank you for your amazing job! Textra is the best!

    right now under someone's contact info the only way you can give it to someone is with an email.. you need to be able to send it through a text, MMS, or SMS

    I know you have an option to mark all as read but what about an option to unmark as read? Its helpful as a reminder sometimes for important discussions
