  2. Mass unmute after messages are deleted

    I accidentally selected all messages and hit the mute icon, and all incoming messages were muted. Before I selected all messages again and unmuted, I deleted a handful of messages that were still muted. Later new messages came in from the people whose messages I had muted/deleted and they were still muted. Consequently I missed their messages until I opened Textra for other unmuted messages.

    I've not found a way to locate people I've muted so I can unmute them other than to wait for a message from them. An option to show all contacts and provide a means to…

  5. Backup and restore

    Get user email and create SMS folder and sync SMS for every hour. Also get restore from the same.

  7. square contact pictures

    Adding contacts works. Only "chomp sms" has fewer setup options, square contact pictures and sender image. If this is set up, I will go to the sms textra sms.

  8. The ability to hide/collapse/minimize the keyboard

    It would be nice to have the ability to hide the keyboard so it doesn't take up a large portion of the screen when scrolling through messages, trying to copy text, or viewing preview messages while typing long messages.

  9. Completely Mute specific contact notifications.

    It would be nice to be able to completely mute a contact. For example I get Tweets from Twitter via text for work but I would like to not get a vibe notification each time I get a tweet text (several per hour). I like getting the text but I do not need an alert when each one arrives.

    With spell checkers so wrong so often, and changing words you wanted to use, we need a bigger view window to see texts before sending .

    there's an app called invi sms at shows when other users are active on the app when they read your messages and when they downloaded the app

  14. Double or Twin SIM function.

    Textra is undoubtedly the best messaging app in the world.
    Introduction of twin SIM function would make it even better.
    Long pressing of the send button will give you an option of sending that SMS to either SIM 1 or SIM 2.

  16. Disable auto rotate

    when I turn my screen off while typing a text and lay my phone down, then cut it back on, Textra rotates to landscape and takes a second to figure out it needs to be in portrait and switch back before I can resume typing. It would be nice to have a disable auto rotate feature in the app itself as I don't want to completely disable it on my phone all together.

  19. highlight new messages in group message stream

    I mute all my group messages and don't look at them until I have time to, but I can never remember where I stopped reading at! Highlighting unread texts would be great.
