1. Draft Status of Text Message

   Once a message has begun to be drafted, but the drafter leaves to another screen or app, a "Draft" is created. Please make the word "Draft" bold so that the message needing attention later can more readily be identifiable / viewable. Right now it is barely noticeable.

2. emoji size

   include setting to scale the size of emojis without increasing font size. I find that emojis are so small that I can barely make them out, however the font is just where I want it.

3. ability to rename group messages.

   I have many group messages that contain various people, but many of them contain the same people ( I use them for work groups). if we could rename the strings it would be massive help with organizing them. thank you for your time and consideration.

6. desaturation

   i like the option to change theme to any color i want, however looking texts hurts my eyes because everything is so saturates no matter what color i choose. turning brightness down helped a little but there should be a vibrancy option

8. Allow complete block of msgs

   Allow the user to set msgs to keep to zero on blocked senders. Maybe it makes sense to have the minimum to 25 for unblocked, but maybe the user may want to block ALL msgs from a sender and have no way to see that sender's msgs.

9. Quick tap call icon.

   Once you open the text message, have an option to tap the text and open the same menu that holds the forward, trash, copy, info. Place a phone icon so you can quickly call the person from that menu versus going up to the top of the screen and opening an additional submenu.

16. Long group chat SMS still convert to MMS regardless of setting

    I installed Textra to my wife's Xiaomi for the sole reason that her long messages get converted into MMS - while she has a plan with unlimited SMS, MMS is paid extra. Unfortunately due to poor quality control on your part, this setting is not working for group chats and, as she uses the phone for her small business, sent a long group message to her clients. This resulted in 140 MMS sent, and several messages not delivered. The messages cost her about $10 (250 CZK) not to mention possible lost sales due to messages not delivered. I am very disappointed in your app and will switch to a different one soon. I'm sending you this, so you know there is something wrong and that you'll have a chance in the future to make it right.

17. Stop the Caps

    When I am using the microphone and dictating a text, many of the words come out capitalized. They can be random words in the middle of the sentence and are verbs or nouns or prepositions. There is no particular pattern to it but I am tired of going back in and correcting all the capitals that appear within the sentences. Any suggestions?

18. OpenPush, OpenStreetMaps, FDroid, & more....

    To whom it may concern,

    I have been looking into options for an SMS replacement and I keep coming back to Textra SMS. However, I see that you do not offer a direct apk download or have published on FDroid. I only use GrapheneOS or CalyxOS for improved privacy and security. So, google services are not an option.

    So, I would like to make a few suggestions & requests.

    Suggest looking into the OpenPush project. This is a free and opensource project that can replace Google Firebase notifications. This will enable you to offer the same functionality to degoogled users as you do to google users.

    If OpenPush is not an option maybe try making the FOSS version of Textra SMS with persistent notifications. The FOSS version of Telegram, in FDroid, does this and essentially serves the same purpose. I would rather have OpenPush but it's still an option.
    When offering locations within Textra SMS, if you ever do, maybe make OpenStreetMaps as an option. This is something that the FOSS version of Telegram also does. It meets the requirements of sending location without using privacy hostile Google Maps. Especially when people are using Android phones stripped of anything google, to include google maps.
    Offer a way to pay for Textra SMS without going through google play store. PayPal, Librepay, and others are all options. 
    Request you make Textra SMS available on FDroid as well as offer a Direct apk download for degoogle android OS'. You have a great app. I have no doubt many would like to give it a try. You would gain more exposure and in turn gain more users on such app stores like FDroid as you would not have as many apps to compete with, if any.

    I hope your team will take some of these suggestions and requests into consideration. Would love to use your app someday. I'm just not willing to compromise privacy and security to use it. But since your app is open source. You have the potential to bringing it to even more users.

20. Long press an address: "Navigate or Save to Contacts"

    If Textra could recognise addresses, then a long press could show options "Navigate to" and "Save to Contacts". Currently if someone texts me their address, it takes many steps to add it to their contact details.
