  1. blocking content instead of numbers

    I get the exact same scam spam text every single day but from a different number. I would love the ability to block content (certain words) instead of numbers to never get the same scam again.

  2. "Report Spam" option 7726

    have an option to when I tap "Blocklist", then ask to report spam by texting the number 7726 ("SPAM" on 12-key) detailing the number and contents of the message. I also really don't want to click on the link, so either ask an "Are you sure?" message or have an option to disable clicking on links. Clicking on links should be disabled for messages from Blocklisted numbers and messages reported to 7726.

  4. samsung galaxy watch 4 support (wear os)

    support for Wear OS would be great. so far, I'm stuck with google messages and I would much prefer to use Textra as my default MMS app on my watch. thanks

  6. search in conversation

    can we have it so that we can search within a specific conversation for keywords instead of the search being open to all conversations. if I'm searching for "party" in a convo with a specific person, I don't need to go through 700 hits on the word in 45 other convos.

  7. Make App Compatible with Android OS watches

    I have the Samsung Watch 4. I would love for this app to be compatible with my watch!!! 😍😍😍😍😍

    All the other apps mentioned (MightyText, Pulse, WhatsApp etc.) have made their apps compatible with Android watches, why not take that next step too...? Just a thought... 🤷🏾‍♀️😊

    I used this all the time on my default text app. Please add!!!! there are many times I want to have someone recieve a message in the morning but i send it out the night before.

  10. Computer Option

    I have LOVED Textra and have used it for years. As a college student I am always on my computer and would love a way to have it sync with my phone and be able to message from my computer! Whether it be an extention or app, I'd pay money. If iMessage can, I wish Textra could too!

    Pictured and|or Gradient Background Theme Options. You guys are definitely onto something here- a really GREAT text messaging App. This is my favorite by far, Google Messages WOULD be better, but you guys allow personalization. ADD MORE OF IT PLEASE!💯

  14. Message Categorization

    please add a feature similar to samsung messages app where the user can categorize individual or group chats/messages into categories. this will allow a user to identify relative importance of the new message and to sort them accordingly. A spam, OTP, and other automated messages could be removed from a cluttered inbox and then finding a prior chat is not just a function of knowing when you last had the conversation.

  15. personal dictionary

    there are some names I type often (including my own last name) that are never recognized when I swipe them. Can we store words that the app can recognize right away instead of auto-correcting?

  17. Text Grouping

    There's a feature that's missing, the ability to create groups. There's another messaging app that lets you create groups to put messages/contacts in. I sorted them by Family, Work, General. I found it very useful and a nice way to sort the messages. please?
