  2. Delete only current draft

    please have message to delete only the current draft being worked on. I have accidentally deleted several conversations thinking I was only deleting a draft.

    It is really a pain to use the back button to delete an entire draft when no longer want to use it or send it.

    the assistance for new ideias doesn't work in the app, so I'm sending my ideia here.

    new delivery reporting system:
    instead of receiving a new sms as delivery report, could simply receive a markup in the message, as in other well known message apps and social networks, I believe this would make Textra the most famous sms app,and make users very happy.

    Can you add an option to exit from a conversation as soon as the last text in that conversation is deleted?

  9. Swipe to call...

    I have a Samsung Note 8 (running oreo) and in the factory message app, you can swipe left to call that contact or right to message him/her (while inside the messaging app).

    That's the only feature I really miss from the factory app. Could you please add that, please!!!

    please take away the notification shortcut or deliver the option. I love your app but would love the functionality to click into a new message and go directly to the app vs a 1 and done shortcut

  15. Per-user notifications

    It's great that we can custom notifications per-conversation. But I have a situation where a certain contact will include me in any number of group conversations with different sets of recipients, unknown ahead of time. I need to be alerted for mms/sms from that specific user no matter who else is included in the conversation.

  17. Notification buttons use fixed position

    In both android notification and heads up style you allow 3 button options. I'd like to mark button 1 as not used and button 2 and button 3 as quick reply and mark as read so that my 2 options are right aligned for my right thumb. But if I leave button 1 as not used, then the 2 not null selections take the places of button 1 and button 2 essentially. I think "not used" should take up a default width to allow blank space. I realize it uses a fit layout style which is clean too, just thought…

    a lot of people don't know or understand sms and send long sms messages that get broken up. a setting to auto combine those sms would be really nice

  19. Message Snippets to Include "+1 Image"

    I've often been confused when I see the 1 unread message snippet and the only thing that shows on my notifications is the SMS that is attached to an image that a person sent. As this often captions/accompanies the image, it would be helpful to see something like "+1 image" or "+2 images" next to the SMS snippet.
