  1. Reminder

    Hi Team Textra,

    I just realized one important feature which would benefit all is - the ability to assign a reminder to a particular message in a conversation. This ability would be very handy when it matters: bill payment, calling boss and so on....

    I hope it wouldn't be much trouble to incorporate the addition.

  3. option to remove "1 unread message" from notification.

    The "1 unread notification" text in the pull down causes Fitbit Ionic to say that text at the start of every message (in bold) shown when the watch notifies about new messages.. I would like an option to. turn that off.

  5. Ignore extensions and descriptions in phone number fields

    Please create the ability to ignore everything after a certain character in the phone number field. for example Microsoft Outlook uses an x after a phone number in the phone number field to dileminate an extension or to let the user type a description of that phone number after the x. Textra should recognize this and ignore any characters after the x, and just look at the first 10 digits of a United States phone number.

  7. Send as new

    'Send as New' doesn't… At the moment it is little more than 'copy & paste' with no send at all.

    There must be a fair number of users who think that messages will be sent automatically, as is implied by the function name. And so forget to manually send what may for them be an important message.

    May I suggest that a time-delay be added to the function that will automatically send the message unless the user edits the message.

    My phone almost freezes and what I put as a reply just seems to free float above the rest. So I have to copy my reply, exit, get back in, paste my reply, and hope it works. VERY AGGITATING. My advice is is to fix it.

  11. Lollipop: Please don't discriminate. MMS & MOBILE DATA ON/OFF

    I just upgraded from a Stardust to a Galaxy J2 Prime. The Stardust was 39.99 in 2013. This J2 Prime was purchased April 2018 for 127.99. A lot for someone not working.

    I am on Safelink and (We still have to pay to upgrade phones.)

    This newer, costlier model still runs Lollipop, & I'm seeing apps ignore us. I am very sad to see Textra's "Turn on and off mobile automatically after sending MMS" only working with Marshmallow now?
    I cannot even receive an MMS without Mobile Data on always.

    I know I am on Safelink thru T-Mobile, and there…

  12. No Fancy Themes

    I disliked so many text programs that came with themes, wallpapers, emotion suggestions... ahhh!

    I vote that there also be a "Thumbs Down" for voting on ideas.

    There are tons of fancy programs out there for those purposes. Don't fix what isn't broken!

    This 8 gig J2 Prime has WAY less room than my 2013 Stardust did!

    Never thought I would need an SD as is.

    Keep shrinking it if you can.... well... I know that cannot happen however, do not add all the frills. To a lot of us, that means a lot.

  14. camera flash

    there are times i go to take a picture straight from textra, but when it is dark i always have to go to my phones camera app to take the picture with flash. would be great if the app included the flash capability when taking a picture

  18. Search delete all

    I get a lot of automated alerts that have similar but different numbers. I want to be able to search on first 3 numbers to find them all and then easily select all and delete all (not all messages from everyone but all in my search results) ... too clear them out. AT&T messenger used to be able to do it but took that feature away for some reason.

  20. Galaxy s8+ having MMS problems.

    I am having trouble sending messages that have a high character count. Whenever I try to send a message with a lot of words (usually any message with more than 90 characters), it always fails to send. I have to copy & paste sections of the messages and then send each section individually in order to send the message. Can anyone help me counter this problem?
