Better randomization or the option to re-randomize the colors. Many of my contacts share the same color

bundled notifications
it would really clean up the notification tray if you get text messages from multiple different people. Or at least an option to enable it.

10 to 5 second view of picture or text
and then it disappears, cubie app use to have it and like how snapchat has it. if its possible. very nice texting app well done.

I think a feature that would allow you to auto reply like an Out Of Office on email would be great for things like meetings or if you go on vacation and dont want coworkers texting, etc. The ability to customize or select certain numbers woul also be great so you could filter messages.

While using Android 10 beta I came across a few new vibration patterns to choose from in system settings. It'd be great to have access to them in the Textra notification settings.

Contact Name Search
Currently, when you search a contact name (in an attempt to quickly find their conversation thread), the results seem to be very unorganized. I'll get a bunch of group messages including that contact listed first, followed by a few mentions within text bodies, and then around the 12th-15th item is the actual contact's conversation thread.
Imo, the single contact thread should show up first, then followed by whatever else. But there is no reason for me to search "John" and for results to be a bunch of group texts that John is in before the thread with just John. Especially…

Silence option
group chats still aren't completely muted. the phone still vibrates even when all notifications are off for the chat. please fix this. I like the app and I paid for it. that's the only issue I have with this app.
