Texting over data.
This is a great app, but I am sure many have left for Facebook Messenger because you can't even wifi text like Samsung's already built-in Messages app allows.

customize the icon for a group message
Ability to Insert a picture as a custom icon for a group message instead of having a cluster of the contact's photos that are in the group as the icon. (I believe this used to be a feature of Textra)

SIM card alias/tagging/customization
I would love to be able to customize sim number icon, i.e. with custom color.
also i am always forgetting which is which so I would like to tag those with text for example simple main/aux or home/work etc would be awesome

I was sure I sent a certain message on February 26th... I'd like to type in date & see all messages sent on that day.

Do not disturb
I have a Samsung Galaxy 8 running the latest software.Now when I use my do but disturb feature at night which should block all notifications, textra still gets through with msgs from my notification drop down area.Although textra has specific settings to make sure nothing shows while dnd is activated this still happens.Maybe make sure my phone does not notify me in any way because it defeats the purpose of dnd.

Group chat send warning as an option
Sometimes my boss texts me separately and sometimes he texts me in a group. I sometimes reply back on the group when I mean to reply individually. I would like an option so that any time I am sending a group text, a pop-up say "You are sending a reply to a group. Press X to cancel within 5 seconds" or something like that. So I can cancel and then send it the way I meant.

there must have been an option for changing message sent tone. there should not have been a single option r single tone for sent tone

Show Contact Avatar on Popup
When a contact has an avatar attached to their profile, show it on the screen and in the AOD. The lock screen pop-up works fine. Make the others match.

Heure envoie programmé
Il serait intéressant d avoir lors d'un envoie programmé, un choix configuré de date et heure, comme à l'image de Google sur Gmail.
Exemple :
"Demain matin 8h00"
"Demain soir 19h00"

Deleting Messages from blacklisted senders
Hi, I noticed that Textra prevents you from seeing blacklisted messages, but does not delete them, so that if you unblock the sender, the messages will appear again as if you never blocked them. I think it would be useful to delete the messages, not only to save memory, but also to prevent any kind of continual harassment, because if you ever have to use the default messaging app for some reason (factory reset, temporary problem with Textra, etc.)you will see all of the blocked messages

it is convenient to be able to click on an address in a text message and have it open in maps - especially using ProVersion because when I send someone an address it would be logical to be able to click on it for immediate directions.

PC platform!!!
I have tried many apps, but this is by far the best. it is just missing a platform to text from other devices like tablet or computer.

It would be great to have some way to view your messaging habits graphically, like messages by sender/recipient, by time of day, day of week, etc.

وقتی برای تعدادی از مخاطبین پیام ارسال میکنیم تکسترا خودش یک گروه برای این مخاطبین تشکیل میدهد که قابلیت نام گذاری و شخصی سازی دارد که این خیلی خوب است ولی مشکل اینجاست که تکسترا دسترسی کم یا زیاد کردن مخاطبین این گروه را به کاربر میدهد. لطفا این قابلیت را اضافه کنید به برنامه.1 vote
