Sorting the conversation list
It would be nice to be able to sort conversations by name or date received.

giffaff/o2 delivery reports option
Sadly on o2 and giffaff network in the UK standard deliver reports don't work. You have to type *0# each time before you send a message to get their form of delivery report back which is a text message to let you know its been delivered.
Would be a godsend if the ability was added to Textra so it auto filled it in for you on each message with

Notification direction
Allow pop up notifications to come from another direction than the top, such as sides or bottom.

Receiving a notification when our recipient has not received our sms/mms passed a certain delay (15 Minutes, ou 20 or 1 hour or 3, for example)

I think a great idea would be to have an option for gradient colors for sending messages.

Stop vibration notification while charging.
Would be nice to be able to set textra NOT to vibrate while charging. I get a lot of text and my phone ends up falling out of the charging stand.

mms color differentiation
any chance of getting MmS accent colors as an option? I believe the latest Android apis kill that feature push would be great if you guys can bring it back

Bulk: Block Replies to incoming Bulk MMS
There is currently an option to have replies come only to me, but the reverse would be wonderful; for replies to exclude me. This is definitely needed when the sender is not me. Because replies are still received long after the message has been deleted.

option to save media
If there were an option to save a set number of incoming MMS, that would be beneficial. Separate from the limit set for outgoing MMS. That way when I set a limit, it is not used up with my own outgoing MMS. Y'all have the option to save a certain number of media (SMS & MMS) files per conversation. Just not the option to set limits separately for outgoing vs incoming.

export text conversations
an option to be able to export, or copy over your text messages and conversations. I see the "share conversation via email", but it is much too large a file for email.

functions when you search contacts
when you search for a text conversation, you cannot call, access contact details or see media shared in that text stream. i use text functions so often it is easier to use textra than use the contacts...so just need some more integration....

Automatically download received images
The option to choose a conversation and set that conversation so that any messages received will automatically get saved to my device. I have a group of friends and we're always sending funny pictures to each other. I would love to have them saved to my device without having to manually do so all the time.

please add more icons for conversations that have meaning, instead of just squiggly lines and such:

Blue eyes on emojis
There are different colors of hair, of skin but not for the eyes. It would be great if we could choose the colors too !
