  2. new text

    when getting new texts, textra should automatically go to the top to see the new message. currently if your scrolling thru the messages and you go to another app, and get a text it goes to the last current position instead of showing the new text

  3. Direct share broken

    I saw the following on Textra support...

    Android M direct share works by showing 'Direct Share' icons of the MOST RECENT app you've opened, that has the Direct Share feature implemented.

    Examples of apps with Direct Share implemented are Telegram, WhatsApp and of course Textra.

    For Textra we show 4 Direct Share avatar icons (these are your 4 most recent conversations in Textra).

    However, this isn't the case on my Samsung Note 20. My 10+ also exhibited the same problem. I was hoping the new Note 20 would solve it but it seems maybe this is a Textra issue. In…

    Having a larger selection of fonts would be really nice! Also some other apps have the option to change bubble colors to a gradient color!

  8. Tenor instead of Giphy

    give an option that can also pull GIFs from Tenor (Google's GIF platform) instead of just Giphy!! Giphy is now owned by FB and it's going to go downhill

  10. Embarrassing point

    Hello. An embarrassing point I've already pointed out: when the Textra icon appears on the home screen, it is deleted very often and needs to be replaced. It's not difficult but I do it several times a week. A bad way to Google no doubt. Textra is not the only application treated in this way. Good luck.

  12. Show the label attached to phone number

    I am not sure how many people organize their contacts the way I do. I include an entire family or business as a single contact and so have multiple phone numbers for a single contact.

    Then Google allows "custom" labels to be created for each phone number. So for instance I might have the "Smith Family" as a contact & "Sally", "Bob" and "Trisha" as labels for the mother father and daughter

    Now when I receive a text message from any one of them, it will only say "Smith Family". Could you configure Textra to also show the label that…

  13. Warning when sending group msg

    My phone number was put on a spam list by the InterCarrier organization that is composed of the different carriers (Verizon, AT&T, etc), without my knowledge

    Suddenly people were not receiving my texts, even though it would appear to me that they were sent. I had no idea why this was happening. It took technical support a month to v figure out the problem. During that time anyone who did not use the same career as me did not receive me SMS messages. (But they did receive MMS messages)

    text notifications and badges keep changing within your app only in software updates and your app updates. I have a LG Stylo 5+ phone. great cindotion and inlya few months old. I'm really tired of this crap. just because I don't buy the pro level doesn't mean you can do what you're doing with your updates and screw your customers.   16. Filter based on text search

    I'd like to be able to dump/reject txts based on search parameters. For example, I get numerous txts with the word "null" in the text. They are always junk. It would be like a search based equivalent of the blocked list.

  18. Automatically enabel send using enter when using an external keyboard

    I have a USB switch that I use to toggle between my personal and work computers that Ihave revcently been using to toggle between my personal computer and my phone. Using the phone with a mouse and keyboard is really handy for messsanging while at my desk, but having to click enter instead of using the enter key on the keyboard to send a message kind of defeats the puropse. I also don't like send using enter when using the virtual keyboard on the phone, so it would be awesome to have the option to set different send using enter…
