  1. Problem with multiple threads for the same person

    Every time I travel overseas and receive messages, I textra creates a totally separate thread for the same phone number because it appears differently. for example, in Japan my brother appears as 0904 ### ####. when I text him it's at +1 904 ### ####. His photo appears next to his name, so I know it is correctly identifying his contact but the messages appear in a totally separate thread and I don't want them to.

  2. Group & Bulk & mass texts

    1st, I love textra! And will continue to use it. 2nd, 1 feature that is very useful in the yellow messages app, is that you can switch different messages sent to groups between, what you guys call group chats, and mass texts which go to individuals as you send each message.
    It would be great to have that option as a clickable feature on the message instead of having to go into the groups settings every time you want to send a message.

    it seems like it could easily be added as an option as part of the three dots…

  4. automatically check for a number already matching except has local area code

    When you have added a contact with no area code specified, and then the person texts you, their number comes in with the area code......Textra won't notice that the phone numbers are identical except for the area code. It should assume the number without an area code is a local number, and merge the conversations instead of keeping them as separate threads. The Messages app does this merging correctly and automatically.

  5. It will be nice that the keyboards used are also valid for other applications

  6. change bubble font

    the font Textra uses that looks like bubble letters is very hard to read and is pretty annoying. I'd like a way to change it to a normal font like this.

  7. Color icon and message's bubble

    In the menu my contact icons are the same color by default. If I change for textra to choose colors for my contacts, it automatically chooses the message bubble colors for all my contacts. In some cases I don't like the bubble colors because they make too little contrast with the text inside.
    I suggest the random contact color to be independent from the message bubble color. At least to see a colorful menu with standardised color bubbles.

  8. Non repliable contacts

    There are some numbers that do not support replies (such as phone number companies etc) . At those companies the app should hide the text option completely.

  9. More Font Options

    Currently there are only 3 font options. Having more font options available would be easier on the eyes (Times New Roman, Typewriter, etc.)

  15. If you guys make an ios version you will dominate the planet

    I have been a loyal Andriod user, I have put up with the unreliability of all Andriod phones, compensating for their fragile builds and glitchy performance with multiple backup apps. Until now, where we are now in the new era of google oppression of all things andriod. You will now see a huge exodus from android to ios.
    The single most important issue in the switch is personal data transfer.
    For business owners contacts and SMS is paramount, and there are very few apps that address this issue.

  17. Save messages to SD card.

    I text a lot and most of the information has to be saved for a long period of time. It would be nice to be able to save messages to my SD card (not the sim!). Two options to "save all messages" and choose individually which contacts messages to save would be ideal. Thanks! (I have pro - love the app!)
