  1. export import block list

    With every new phone I have to go through this dance of blocking lots of unwanted text messages. you would be so very helpful to be able to export my block list from my old phone and import to my new phone or provide the same block list to someone else that they can import. like a family member.

  3. option to send audio messages

    what do you think guys think about adding the option to send a voice note? I can receive audio messages but I was surprised when I found out I couldn't send one. I think it'd be a great addition to this app.

  4. Color code SIM1 and SIM2 icons

    *** PLEASE *** color-code SIM1 and SIM2 icons to make it easier to differentiate! This has caused me enough aggravation to consider other messaging apps. I have been requesting this for years! This is a small change that makes a BIG difference in usability!

  5. option to delete your ideas

    I just posted an idea that has already been incorporated into the app so now I feel stupid and want to delete it :/ so give us the option to delete our posted ideas instead pls 😭

  6. Sandboxing of suspected spam

    I like the idea of auto blocking people, not in my contacts. But what if those texts were put in a folder much like spam on email for us to verify? That way we could add someone new to our contacts or confirm it as spam.

  10. pinch changes font size& reformat

    Pinching wouldn't zoom; instead it would enlarge or reduce the font size, and then reformat the message with the new font size.

    I think Samsung phones do this. My wife needs it because of vision problems.

    I love the signature option. the fact that its individual signatures by contact is an amazing feature I adore. bear with me as I explain what I hope to see for the formatting of the signature.

    when I type out a message and hit send, it automatically inserts the signature one space after the last character i typed in the message.     since a few days, the textra system is going wrong. every time I get a message, the round icon is hanging on the display. it is not possible to turn it off.

    now I will deactivate textra.

    I would like to see a better SMS/MMS connection, where when we send these types of messages, they don't have to be resent or see a failed message...

    As a better interface, more options like fonts & backgrounds... Ability to video chat as well....

  19. SMS to email

    I send text messages to email addresses all the time, including notes to myself. With all other text programs when you start typing a person's name it looks at the contact list and comes up with all of their numbers and their email addresses. This makes it very easy to click an email address to start new message. Textra doesn't and even makes you type dang near the entire address as if it wants to reject you from doing it. Please make this easier to do.
