Pictures aren't deleted
When you delete messages, the pictures that were automatically saved in the Gallery are still saved and do not get deleted.

Gradient bubble colors
Being able to chose a color for the convo bubble and being able to chose the color of the box to be a gradient of that color.

Handling of 'Liked' messages
It would be very beneficial to be able to process or classify messages based on the first few characters of the message. I would, for example, hide all messages that begin with 'Liked "' or 'Laughed at "', which would allow Textra to be able to handle the iMessage social media features much better. As it is now, I simply get many duplicate text messages back from iMessage users, which I would prefer to have hidden or blocked.
Even better, would be a modifiable list of patterns to categorize like this, in the case that these introductory phrases are changed…

Chat bubbles
It would be nice if you could arrange a chat bubble as a notification. Just like Android has on Facebook Messenger where you get a bubble on the screen with a picture of the person writing. As a custom option.

merge two conversations
it would be great to be able to merge two conversations. when someone changes a phone number you either keep the old thread around forever or you have to trash it. just an idea.

It works be really nice to be able to preset a message to text it automatically to anyone who calls or texts that you are "away" like "in a meeting" or "asleep" or "driving".

Devices
have other device sync with your mobile phone and the ability to send and receive messages through the registered cellular device. example your cell phone sends and receives through its cellular service but message copies are received or sent on your tablet or pc.

Spam reporting
A way to report that you received spam blocking it from ever getting to your phone. Blocklisting is ok but they can still message you. A way for them to be cut off would be ideal.

Back up/restore texts to/from file
Textra Pro should have a feature that allows for SMS and MMS messages to be saved, backed up, and restored via a backup file.

notification for unsent messages
Currently when a message is not sent for whatever reason it is marked with a green bar with an "!" but if you don't go back in the message you have no way of knowing it wasn't sent. It would be great if we could be notified that a message had not gone through and then have that chat thread marked in your home screen message list.

Autoreply
With most states having restrictions on handheld devices while driving, it would be helpful to have an auto reply function easily available to Textra users. My car allows hands free phone use, but I get more texts than phone calls.
