Reset all settings
it would be wonderful to have the ability to start over and reset contact colors, notification sounds, privacy settings, everything. just reset all settings to how they were when you first download the app.

An option to turn off Swipe to delete and call.
Some people wouldn't really like this and would prefer to have this turned off, because some people might get frustrated calling that person by accidentally swiping to the left or deleted a conversation by accident by swiping to the right.

Typing Indicator
Similar to Facebook Messenger, Snapchat, or iOS messaging; indicators such as three dots would inform the user that the person is responding.

It would be nice if the specific notification sound I set for a contact would be played when that person sent/replied to a group message.

Hide conversation threads
Ability to hide specific conversations from main screen. This would be different from archiving, where hiding would keep the entire thread hidden by default.

Signatures
It would be great if we could change font size & style (italics) on the signature options to help distinguish it from the message text. Otherwise this is an excellent app and am happy to recommend to others! Thanks.

text to voice and auto execute
if I receive a text while driving, I hear the beep and I can see it on the top window... it would be nice to hit a button right there and let it read it aloud, or auto-read if I enable that. Another scenario, I ride my motorcycle... my Sena comm unit integrates with Google Assistant and I can text or call anybody. but when a text comes back... I'm stuck. It would be nice to have Textra auto execute Text to Voice when my phone is connected to a preselected Bluetooth Device so it can read me the text…

SMS/MMS backup/restore
A cloud backup/restore function should be normal in the app. at less, importation of the Google backup on gdrive. At this moment, if you reinstall or reset the device, you lose everything. not fun at all...

Backgrounds!!!

Sometimes users get spam text messages from email addresses. It would be great if there was a way to only accept text messages from contacts

Galexy Watch App
With the new Galaxy watch you are allowed to text with third-party applications utilize Bixby and or othe ways from the phone. The previous model of the watch you had to use the Samsung messaging app. I highly recommend you build a texta application for the Galaxy watch platform.
