  2. Send Videos from App

    Unfortunately the only way to send videos is physically sharing through gallery. Make it possible to just click photos icon in app and send like all other messaging apps.

  3. move send button away from keyboard

    I often get caught out accidentally sending a message before completing it. This occurs when I tap on the message to edit it and accidentally hit the send button.
    I see 2 solutions:
    Give the option of shifting the send button away from the keyboard.
    Or
    Give the option to be presented with an "are you sure?" dialogue

  5. TO: ALL Developers

    STOP using WHITE as the base color for smartphones! Does anyone here NOT own a copy of Photoshop? Geeeeze. White Sux, is a drain on batteries, ruins AMOLED screens, identifies you in the dark... it's just WRONG!

  7. Scroll Bar

    I write long messages. Scrolling through already written message means placing your finger within the body of the text to scroll... but often this will highlight the text, replace the text bar, or even bring up the copy/paste mode. I would love a traditional Windows scroll bar either above the plus sign or send arrow. Even an expand button to allow your 'edit/message window' to go full screen. Thanks.

  8. Notification sound.

    Could you please include an option to make a notification sound every time you receive a text message. I have noticed that if you have the app open or it is currently on your screen, it does not make a notification sound. I have missed many text messages because of this. It would be very helpful if you could put an option to have a notification sound play every time you get a message, regardless of being in the app, or having it open. (excluding silent mode of course). 🙂🐈

  9. Backup Setting & Messages

    Add a backup & restore function to the customization as well as all the messages. Integrate it into Google Drive/Dropbox would be handy as well as better way to promote this app. Textra has wide variety of customization. It took time to customize to what I needed

  14. Sent/Received Icon

    A small icon on each conversation that changes depending on whether the last message in the conversation was sent by you or by someone else. E.G. a return arrow symbol next to messages that I sent.

  15. More Color Options for Customization

    There's a ton of great color options, but sometimes they're too bold and bright which makes them hard on my eyes. I'd love some pastel colors!

  18. Read messages out loud

    Read messages out loud when connected to Bluetooth. Example, will read ur messages out loud while in the car through the speakers. YAATA has this feature which is very nice.

    I wish Textra developers could make an email app, being as good as sms app. It's hard to find good email app on play store to replace gmail(got worst then used to be).

  20. Allow move to SD card

    Hi - I love the app, and have used it for years. However, it takes up a lot of space, and there is no way for me to move it to my SD card. Would absolutely LOVE if you could allow that option.
