    Please 🙏 please 🙏, we need user defined folders to dump old messages in to and yet keep the inbox clear. At the very least an Archive folder.

  4. message count next to the name of the thread

    On the page where we see all pur text message threads next to the name of the specific person in parentheses should be a message count for example John Smith (322).

  8. Custom color for each contact

    Add the ability to change each thread of the text based on the contact. Example Google Messenger. Just makes it a little more personal.

  9. Trash Folder

    Can you implement a Trash Folder feature? Or a way for us to retrieve deleted messages? Just now, IDK how but I deleted a conversation and now I cant get the messages back. This would be really helpful.

  12. Sms auto forward

    There should be sms auto forward functionality where user should be able to create rule e. G. Sms containing particular keywords should be auto forwarded to specified mobile number. This is very useful as there are certain sms you have to forward but you may not check your phone at that time to forward immediately or you may even be not contactable by other person (who has to receive sms from you)

    Set a message limit!!! Please! Even just a global limit would be fine.

    This function would simply delete old messages when the limit is reached.

  14. Name group chats

    Ability to change the group chat "contact title" so instead of an aggregate of John doe, Jane doe.... We can rename that speicific group to our liking such as "family group" or "work chat"

  15. Make a web client/native app for windows/mac/tablets that directly syncs with the Textra app...(similar to mysms or MightyText)

    Being able to use MightyText to text on my computer is really helpful, but since Textra uses its own database for storing messages, messages sent from MightyText(or other apps that do similar) don't show up on the phone. This can be remedied with a whole new feature, similar to how iOS syncs texts to OSX.

  17. RCS Chat

    I think it's high time to add RCS feature like with Google's Messages. So, it can communicate with other android users that has RCS chat enabled, like with Samsung and Huawei that has RCS features with their SMS app.

    It's like iMessage of iPhone.

  20. Advanced message details: Time received AND sent, size, etc.

    Most text messaging apps have it so you can see all the technical details of the messages such as time SENT (which is different than what is currently shown, which is time RECEIVED), MMS size, and other options either by long press or by selecting it and then going into the options menu. Textra does not. But it should~
