Font color and border color
I have two ideas.
The first is to customize the color of the font in the received and sended messages. Today we can change it from black to white, my idea is to be able to select any custom color for the text.
My second idea is to customize the border of the messages box. We will be able to choose the size of the border and customize the color.
What to you think about it?

calendar recognition
key words that pertain to appointments and dates can be hyperlinked to your calendar so that you can add events to your calendar by touching the key words that. words like: tomorrow, what time?,etc.

allow spelling to be corrected during send delay
When text delay is set for the sending of messages (e.g. 4 secs.), and a spelling error is noticed during the delay before the message is sent, allow the spelling error to be changed by tapping the correct word without stopping the message from going out. Right now, to correct spelling, you have to stop the message. Other texts apps I've used allow the spelling to be changed during the delay without stopping the message.

Swipe action option
there should be an option for swipe action, currently swipe left makes the call and swipe right deletes message. there should be more options like, mark as read, mark unread, archive, reply, add to specific folder

import & export
it's almost essential to have one's settings saved to an external file that can be used across devices and program versions. also being able to import data from other texting apps would be a nice albeit time consuming considering their multiple formats.

blocklist individuals in group message
I would like the ability to block a specific sender, in this case an email, instead of all the numbers listed. It wouldn't let me copy the email and add that one person to the blocklist.

Swipe settings
Hello,
I'd love to be able to adjust settings related to whether I swipe left or right on a message conversation.
For example; I almost never delete a complete conversation, so having that as default right-swipe is a wasted swipe opportunity for me. I personally would prefer to be able to archive the conversation instead with that right-swipe, for example.
Without having put much thought to it; these are a few possible alternatives for the swipe settings;
* Block sender
* Archive conversation
* Web search the sender's number
* Individual mute message sounds for that conversation for maybe 1h.…14 votes -
Seasonal Notification Icons
Can you offer seasonal notification icons in the future? Some examples would be a Jack O'Lantern or witch for Halloween, a turkey for Thanksgiving, a snowman or Santa for Christmas, Fireworks for New Years, a Clover for St. Patrick's Day.

Default vibration pattern is bad
I redownloaded Textra after a mishap, and that ended up removing the custom vibration pattern option (pixel 4a). Now that it is gone, the default vibration pattern is horrible, it's just one long strong buzzzz. The new one is very jump scare inducing and let's everyone else in the room know I got a text. I don't know if it's impossible to add the custom pattern option back, but at the very least, please calm down this default one, it's not good at all

individual contact notification sounds
would you guys be able to give us the ability to set custom contact notification sounds for each contact? it wouldn't help us distinguish who's texting us without looking at our phone

themes color options
I'd be nice if we could have like more themes or textures for like the backgrounds of our messages lines zig-zags there's there's so many splatters anything then just the same colors that we got even gradients would be fun I just feel like it would be more interesting if I could have more customization

blocklist : sort by last message
it would be great to be able to sort blocklisted numbers by last message received in order to determine new messages

Colours
I think it'd be awesome if we had a full colour wheel to pick from or type colour codes for more customization options and it'd be great if we could be able to set the text colours on individual chats or have it automatic. (like dark colour bubbles would have white or light grey words and light bubbles would have dark text)
