Display contact's phone number in conversation
Would it be possible to add an option to have the contact's number persist below their name?
I have some contacts who have two or more numbers and, while I realize that I can hit that little drop down arrow by the name to have it reveal the contact's number, it would be more convenient to just have it underneath the contact's name for quick reference.

move the trash can
please.move the trash(delete) away from the pin button. I have now accidentally trashed two of the most important contacts messages when attempting to pin them.

OTP highlighted
OTP's & Verification Codes received through texts should be underlined like other numbers or links, so it's easier to copy from either pull-down notification on top or the actual message itself. Rather than having to select the OTP/code through the lengthy copy process!

Auto Reply / Out of Office
It would be great to be able to create groups, and set an out of office response for that group (or a specific set of individual contacts) for a certain amount of time. Similar to an out of office message on email.

Personalized Backgrounds
I'd like to suggest allowing PRO users the ability to use pictures as backgrounds for the entire app. And the ability to individualize each conversation/thread with it's own background, for more personalization.

Blocklist sms storage
It would be very useful to be able to see all the SMSs sent to us by our block listed numbers.
I say this because there are times that numbers like 9498 etc will send advertisements but occasionally the same numbers also send verification SMSs.13 votes -

Please revert the latest sending picture change
I went to send a single picture today. Textra is now requiring the "Choose" button which is another step per picture I want to send. Why is this a thing now?

New +Photo Selection Functionality
Revert the changes made to + photo selection enhancements. It is more complicated and added click steps. Don't like it. Not everything has to look like Facebook or work like Facebook. Simpler is better.

take it back
undo whatever you did to the pictures and inserting them. I'm not opening my texting app to look at the picture I'm sending to someone so why is "look at picture" like 80% of the click real estate of the picture?
