heads up issue when more messages
Heads up is working fine as far as a single message is concerned. But what happens when more than one message comes? It simply fails as only the first message heads up is only displayed! please fix this.

In group chats, provide a visual indicator (glyph/icon) of the group message type (chat vs bulk) or button to change the message type
First, some background:
I often use group messaging. However, for some things, I prefer to send group messages in "chat" mode, and for other types of messages, I prefer to send them in "bulk" mode. Due to the large number of messages I send out about announcements to things (where I require no response), I have my global / default group messaging type set to "bulk". However, when I'm responding to another group chat (where I'm included as a recipient), I typically want to use the "chat" group messaging type. The problem is that I still tend to forget which mode the conversation is in before sending messages sometimes.
Solution:
What I'd like to propose is that a small visual indicator (e.g. a small glyph or icon) be added somewhere on screen to indicate the type of group messaging option in effect. Naturally, this need only appear when the active conversation is a group message. And I think a logical place to put this would be near the send button -- perhaps even as a small overlay on the send button.
As an alternative, it would be even nicer if there was a toggle button/switch displayed on the group message compose interface that not only indicated the current type of group message mode in effect, but which would allow us to toggle / change the group messaging mode when tapped. This way, it would serve both as a convenient visual indicator and as a means to easily change the group message mode (with one tap) instead of the 7 taps it currently requires to change the group message mode. Again, putting the group messaging mode switch button near the send button seems like it may be a good place for it.
I noticed that this other suggestion seems similar to mine: https://textra.uservoice.com/forums/208555-feedback/suggestions/18442723-bulk-vs-chat-button-in-group-messages
This is a small thing, but I think it would help people like me a lot. Thanks in advance!

Delete multiple messages
Would love to be able to delete multiple messages at once instead of just one at a time. When swiping right to delete a message, would like to have the option to maybe check multiple boxes next to each message, then hit the delete button.
Several at once. Often times I'll go back through and purge several messages.
But as it is, I have to do it one at a time.
Thanks for considering.12 votes -
Gear S3 app
please design an app that will work with the Samsung Gear S3 so when I get messages they will appear in a Textra folder. as it stands you can only see messages in the message folder on the gear S3 if you are using the Samsung Native Messaging App which we all know is not worth beans.. I would rather use the Textra and not be able to go back and see the messages later but it would be great if you could incorporate Textra on the watch!!!

Repeat Notofications - Snooze
Repeat notifications is one of the features that really makes Textra awesome, but when I'm driving, this is a huge annoyance.
When displaying the repeating notification, you should offer a series of "Snooze" options that would postpone the repeating notifications for a set number of minutes (ex: Snooze 30 minutes, Snooze 1 hour).
Clicking would postpone the repeats for any messages for that amount of time.

customize
Message bubble shapes, background, live or 3d background, head notification (also banners of messages received should be different than white or shape), and see someone typing in dots (knowing that they are texting you. so no one would stare at the screen till their message pops up).

Problem in sms scheduling
I am using Huawei P9 and P9 Lite, i tried Textra in both mobiles for sms scheduling, this feature was awesome and i am using for more than a year now but now from last 6 months its creating an issue. the scheduled msgs dont start sending on scheduled time unless i restart the phone or send manually 1-2 times then the next scheduled msgs will start sending according to schedule.
P.S. i factory reset the phone, but the problem is still there. i am scheduling groups of around 100 people each.

Emergency Alerts
Textra should have access to Emergency Alerts through the app. Since Textra is my default text app, when we got the Presidential Test alert today it kept going off every few minutes because the text app that comes with Android was in control of and had actually received the Emergency Alert. I had to go to the the original text app to clear the alert to get it to stop blaring. The moment I cleared it from there, the alert was then pushed to Textra. This is a major oversight for a sound that doesn't stop until it's cleared and is SUPER loud.
