  1. Emoji Keyboard support

    With some keyboards, you have special keys to choose from an emoji list in certain text fields. It works e.g. with the standard CM 10.2 messaging app and SwiftKey, where you don't have to do the long click to insert Emojis. Would be great to have this here, too.

  2. Hangouts integration support.

    Would be nice to have texts sent through google hangouts and not through carrier. MMS image compression sucks. I WOULD use hangouts if it looked as nice as textra, but thats why we love this app! Features are great and it looks great.

  4. Add Select All button so it is easy to perform actions like Delete All Messages

    I receive regular (daily) text messages from some services (e.g. weather forecast, account balance, etc.) and would like an easy way to delete all messages from a sender. A Select All button would be nice, if not a Delete All button.

    Provide an option to keep the popup notification on screen until acted upon. Currently there are timed options in the menu for how long a popup remains on screen with the max being 3 minutes.

  9. add group message personalization

    using template fields for full name, first name or last name, or even some other fields from the contact info like nickname, messages sent to multiple people could be personalized to each recipient. this will be a great feature to have to make messages not send as mass message but with each contact's name. please ensure there is a preview before sending, where one can deselect or edit any wrongly parsed entries.

  10. Floating notification focus on OTP codes (one time password)

    floating notifications are great to quickly see incoming messages. unfortunately it only shows one line of the message. i frequently receive OTP codes in SMS when i try to log in to things like bank accounts. when the one-time password or one-time pin code is shown in the floating notification, i can immediately enter it in the app below it which is usually what sent me the otp. however right now it only works for otp visible in that one line. it will be great if the floating notification can show the otp in a message if it intelligently detects…

  15. The icon's color should match our customized settings color instead of being blue by default

    Well first off.. awesome app no doubt... it's just a friendly suggestion.. I think that as we are able to customize the color of our app's ui and customize the color of our sent and received text bubbles So I just thought that there should be a way by which the default icon's color can become same as our ui instead of being blue all the time. That's all

  18. add more Lollipop animations.

    Such as the ripple effect when selecting a conversation from the list view. Basically, find all the animations in Google Messenger and copy them!
