Keep contact colors from changing
I like that new contacts are assigned different colors for their contact bubbles. This helps me visually tell the difference between people without having to always look at their name. This gets harder, however, when the contact colors change, which seems to happen when I add new contacts. It would be great if the colors for old contacts stayed the same when new contacts were added. I know I can do this manually, but I would love for it to be automatic.

spam control: block urls
if a sender is NOT a contact AND message contains an url, flag as spam.
this would cut down a huge amount of political spam

search by date
I'd love it if we could search by the latest date. I often look for the message group with my D&D friends but the results usually bring up messages from years ago with people on the group who have already left instead of the group that I was texting just a couple weeks ago

Hello
So you know for group chats especially on iPhones when you can hold on a text message and reply to them directly their than in a group chat when people are texting and its just a big mess. This would be really helpful and add a whole new feature. I hope you see this and consider it.

Category folders Please!
Category folders or sections like Samsung had would be awesome. I don't know why I can't find this feature anywhere now and why Samsung stopped. I use it heavily and I know others do too.

too many underlined texts
for calenders or addresses, can I option to remove that feature? its often entirely wrong and underlines a random piece of text for no reason. Please fix!

Automatic reply
As many others automatic reply would be great.
But it would be awesome to have it working for a selected phone number only when you have more than one phone number and also to be able to set up hours for this function.

Search Options feature
When searching throughout all conversations it would be super helpful to have options and filters. To make it easier to find a specific message, options should include whether or not to search within contacts or just within the conversations, the ability to filter the search results by date, and the ability to change the sort order such as alphabetical, reverse alphabetical, newest first, oldest first.
why? often when searching for a particular communication I am presented with a sea of contacts responses without any ability to sift through the many options to find the one I'm looking for. I think I would use often the ability to search only through conversations and not have it give me results from the names of the contacts themselves and to limit the search results within the last 2 weeks or the last month or the last 3 days. for the date filters it would be so helpful to have quick and easy preset filters to tap on such as within the last week, within the last month, and the ability to set a custom range.When searching throughout all conversations it would be super helpful to have options and filters.
