  1. Background More Choices Colors

    I love Textra but the only choices for the background are light or dark wich at times feel to dark or to light you must add more choices something in between or different colors I love the minamalist material look but have to be able to Adjust that background to suite the eyes and needs. Colors, a color wheel to exact choice, personalize with background of choice?

    The app is amazing but would be great if the background could be customised by using a photo order extending the range of colours available for use.

  5. RCS Between Textra users (until it's fully available)

    Please have a feature like Snapchat or Instagram where if the person you're texting also uses Textra, that we can have rcs support to see when they're typing, or read a message at least until rcs is a universal thing. Support for rcs for available platforms like Google messages would be great too. With an the features this app has over messages, it would take it head and shoulders above it.

  6. Be able to create templates of texts you use often.

    I send reminder texts to clients for their appointments. I don't want to have type each one out or copy and paste. ;-)

    Make it so you can set a different alert sound for the repeat notification so you don't think you keep getting messaged when it's just repeat notifying.

    For dual sim users, there is no option in Textra to send sms from the sim we want. this is irritating a lot really.

  10. Emoji style by contact

    Add the possibility to switch from ios and Android emoji for specific user . example my wife is on ios and my friend on android. So we can set the good emoji style with contact. We can change led contact color so why not emoji style too

  13. Settings backup

    I just got a new phone (the Samsung S8, which is a great phone if anyone cares) and I'm having to reset all the settings and personalizations...which is a pain. Why not allow Textra to back up these settings to Google Android back, or have a way to export the settings and personalizations for contacts?

    Would love to be able to see if the person is replying to my text with a "typing" message while I wait for it to come in.

  15. Group SMS

    Please add option of adding or removing recipients in a group.

    Sometimes the group members change so you need to create a new group everytime you have to remove or add a new recipient.

    It would be better if there is just an add or remove option so I don't have to create a new group everytime. Thank you

    Undo and/or trash can that we can retrieve texts threads/whole conversations that were accidentally deleted!! please!!

  17. Retrievable Trash Bin

    I accidentally deleted a conversation with the vet instead of a spam conversation immediately below it with the same color and hash symbol. it would be nice if deleted messages were sent to a folder in settings somewhere or something that could be emptied out, but where you could also retrieve accidentally deleted conversations.

  19. Save new number to Contacts

    Where's the option to save a new phone number to your Contacts list? Kitkat Messaging and Messaging Classic had the ability to do this.

  20. Block spam texts coming via email

    Most spam seem to be sent to phones via mass emailings. Maybe there is a wsy to block emailed-texts? We are charged for their spam texts and they are sending it for free!
