  2. Wallpaper

    It would be nice to can put a background wallpaper from our own gallery in background for the conversations and the home page too.
    A new update with this would be welcomed.

    Gallery viewer allows media sent or received by Textra app to be viewed in a gallery format with thumbnail previews. Supports viewing of galleries by all, date, contact, SMS/MMS thread and filtering by media types: photo, gif, video, sound file, etc. Supports stock Android management of files via single or multiple object selection.

  5. Adding a private box option.

    Great to have a private box and specific controls for it. Like options for messages received from locked box. When and how they appear and to turn off the notification for the private box messages

  6. Merge SMS threads

    Heyo Textra team, i recently discovered that some of my contacts now have duplicate threads (even for the exact same number). I would love to have the ability to merge these threads, that would be an awesome and unique functionality to have in an SMS app, that is present nowhere else (the last app that offered that was Hangouts version 10 in 2012). Cheers!

  11. Please bring back the personal dictionary

    What happened to the ability to save words/names to a personal dictionary? It's so annoying to have to ALWAYS retype friends' names that are spelled differently than Textra 'thinks' they should be spelled.

  14. Block numbers that are less then 10 digits long.

    Here in Canada all cell numbers are 10 digits long. However, spammers are using all kinds of short numbers to send spam messages. Could you add in a feature that says Block all numbers less then 10 digits with exceptions if need be.

  17. muting bluetooth notifications

    Even if I have muted a group text, I still get notifications via Bluetooth on my car (Tesla M3). I don't know if this is a Textra "issue" or an Android "issue". For me, mute means mute across the board but the ability to mute the bluetooth as well would be nice.

  18. Tetra support for HEIF image orientation.

    Textra doesn't manage image orientation correctly on phones that save in High Effeciency Image File Format (HEIF) like the last few iterations of the Galaxy phone.

    It would be awesome to have a variety of FONTS!! ESPECIALLY HUGE FONTS!! DECORATIVE FONTS...
    Everyone loves choice. I know I do!! GIRLS are drawn to having choices- LOTSA variety! NOT LIMITED TO 3(yours are kinda all the same-it's true)..COLORFUL IS GOOD! *PRETTY STUFF     Aren't some dudes into texting more if they can have their own "ROCK HARD" FONTS for their texts..(?) BIGGER•BOLDER•HUGE FONTS!! PEOPLE ARE DRAWN TO ANYTHING THEY CAN CONTROL! Older folks I shared TEXTRA with have ISSUES WITH THEIR EYES(age you know)..
    As for ME- I LOVE the colorful choices you have. WHAT would send it over…

  20. Clean out or Easy clear your text history

    a drop down with options to delete, move , file group, ... your text in coming text old text etc.
    As it s now you have to manule delete each conversation one by one.
    Really time comsuming and pain
