I find this new update very disruptive. Can there be an option to toggle this on/off? Normally love everything you guys do. Thanks for a great app.

save media to phone but NOT in the app?
app size just keeps growing to incredible size.. delete unnecessary convos, clear cache regularly.. finally just had the idea to delete media from convos, which had a drastic impact. since I have the setting checked, images are saved to my device. ...why, then, are they also saved within the app itself? could it be an option? like "save media to device/do not save in app" or "save media to device+save in app".. even "do not save media anywhere" I guess.
also, when deleting then manually from within a contact.. there's no select all. selected 632 photos/videos from that contact, individually.

Change text color per conversation
The automatic black text based on color does not ever seem to work correctly. Too many times if you change the bubble to a lighter shade, the text is black and you can't change it. It never looks good or matches. Seriously baffling how there is not an option to change this. You can do it for general settings, but not per conversation. As amazing as this app is, the numerous simple customization options that are missing is begining to get frustrating.

Restore Settings if Reinstalled is Not Available, Why?
All Apps have this Option? I had to Uninstall Textra because it Froze on my Samsung Galaxy Note 8, I rebooted my phone twice, still didn't clear the problem of a totally blank black screen. I tried sending message to myself from another Phone but even that wouldn't go through. I had no option except to Uninstall then Reinstall, Google Play Store acted as if I was installing for the first time, meaning that I would have to pay again for the Pro Version. That's ridiculous but If that was all that happened it would have been worth paying again,…

can we opt to save customised settings. I use nova launcher and can save settings to SD card or direct to Google. It makes setting up after a reflash very quick. Im surprised that people have been requesting this for a few years but no action. Is there a reason why not?

Lock entire conversation
I can lock message but what about full conversation. Add option to lock conversation so no one can delete entire conversation accidentally.

Google Voice Support - Two Mobile Numbers
Google Hangouts is about to die and Textra can take advantage of their absence. One thing that Google Hangouts did well was the ability to manage both your mobile number and Google voice numbers through a single app. When people texted me using my Google Voice number, my reply would automatically be from my Google Voice number, and if the message was sent to my main mobile number, my reply would also automatically be from my main mobile number.

galaxy watch
love using textra and would really love it if i could use it on my galaxy watch that i just recently purchased. even with my s10 coming i will still continue to use textra over built in messaging app!

Custom themes for conversations
I would love if you could set themes and accents per individual conversations. We can already set chat bubble color, so hopefully this feature comes soon.

outline for bubbles
it would be cool to have just an outline bubble so that the bubble background color would be the same as the background and we could just have the outline to surround the text message

Ability to retract a text
Ability to retract a text within a few seconds; ability to set the time frame in which we can retract the text. Just in case we need to modify it or just delete it. Kinda of like the delayed text option, but without have that extra step for each text.

buy pro during 14 day trial
I just recommend textra to a friend and they wanted to go ahead and purchase the pro version, went through all the settings, looked on the play store, couldn't find anything to go head and update to the pro version. Finally I had to look and found out that there's 14 days before ads start and before it asks you to upgrade. I couldn't even find this information on the app itself. It would even be helpful if there was a tracker that gave you which day you were on in your trial.

Please add the option to set Textra as the default app for receiving emergency, amber and presidential alerts
Right now I have to receive all emergency alerts through my default Messages app on my Samsung Galaxy S8, even though I use Textra for all other messaging. PLEASE add this option?

Bonjour je viens d'acheter votre application, je l'aime bien, il ne manque qu'un Widget sur lequel il serait indiqué lorsqu'on reçoit un SMS et le nombre de SMS reçus.
Nous sommes en 2919, on va sur la Lune, d'autres applis semblables possèdent des Widget, moi je préfère la vôtre, alors un petit effort S.V.P. et vous rendrez des milliers de Clients heureux et satisfaits.
