Timestamp error
A multitude of users, myself included, are seeing two timestamps for received messages. The times are just one to a few hours apart, but same minute. This is occurring in almost all of my received messages.

Pop-out cursor window
When I want to copy a text message or send as new, I hover and hold on the message with a finger press. After about a second, the message is selected. Next, go up and then select the action in the top right corner.
My idea would be hold the text and then a small window pops up from just outside the message box with the same options; "send as new", "copy text", etc.

Block text from email address
I am constantly getting spam texts from email addresses. A way to block this or to block specific words in a contact name would be great. Thanks!

Detect and move security code messages to a separate folder
We all get these one-off 6-digit codes by text clogging up our actual conversations with friends.
Seems like you could detect these messages with some simple flags:
- was the contact in your address book?
- did you need to create a new thread?
- if there's a thread, has it already been identified as a code generating contact?
- does the message contain 4 or more numbers in a row??
- does the message contain words like 'code,' 'security,' etc.
Once a message is identified, move it to a new folder or keep a single thread with multiple messages dropped there.

Update to be compatible with Android 10 Forced Dark Mode
I use an all black message bubble look, but when I enable forced dark mode on Android 10, the Black option in Textra becomes white. I've scrolled thru all the colors, the Black does disappear. I hope textra can be updated to adapt to the forced dark mode in Android 10 to retain an all.black messages bubble look.

Smart Replies
I would like to see Smart Replies that can be tailored to the recipient. For example: Every morning I send a text to my bank that contains the word "Bal". This triggers a return text with my checking account balance. It would be useful to automate this process a little bit.

Alex-tra (Textra + Alexa)
It would be awesome if there was an Alexa blueprint/ability to interface with Textra, allowing one to have their incoming messages alerted by Alexa, saying there's a new notification of a message from Jane Doe, then Alexa asks the user if they'd like the message read out loud.
It would also be great if the user could ask Alexa to compose a message to so and so, sending and receiving messages or Textra alerts hands-free at anytime or anywhere around the house!

MMS backup to Google Photos
Could keep a thumbnail on the device, and in a perfect world it actually gets stored in Google Photos called textra or MMS
Saves space, Google photos is unlimited for this file size, never lose a pic

Add another contact into a group chat
When you have a group chat and you're slowly acquiring numbers or meeting new people to whom this group chat would be relevant, it would be AMAZING to be able to simple add them instead of starting a new group.

Option set default picture app
I use QuickPic to organize my pictures. I would LOVE a way to be able to set a default app (QuickPic in this case) to open right away to browse for a picture to insert when i press the "+". Currently I need to go through at least 3 menus to do so and it's cumbersome! Please add this!!!

Simple photo editor
it would be nice to have a basic image editor (like adding text, or emoji, drawing to an image) built into the app. so you can simply and quickly add what you want to the photo before sending it.
