  1. Textra messages not showing in stock app

    I am worried when I go to backup my phone I will lose my messages for some reason all the messages I get on Textra do not show up at all on my stock app even when I switched back. Anyone experience these issues

  2. Deleting texts

    I am useless at remembering to clear-out old, unimportant texts and often have hundreds to delete in a single session. I would find it very useful if it were possible to delete all texts from/to a person generated before a specified date. Would save having to select messages individually.

    It would be nice to be able to select all in an SMS category and delete instead of having to select one at a time and then delete.

  5. Block sms by keywords

    blocking spamers sms by cusom keywords, like in Samsung built-in sms app. (for example - words like loan, sale, price). Thanks!

  6. Multiple options for sorting messages

    Headers for sections would make it much more visually appealing and easier to see how the list of messages are organized. See the Pulse texting app for an example. I love how it has a header for each section and sorts my pinned conversations at the top, followed by the conversations from today, then this week, and finally older conversations. So much easier to find things! Also options to filter or sort by read vs. unread messages. Everyone likes to sort things differently. Give users the option to customize this. But either way, please add headers to organize the list…

  7. Reset to original settings (default)

    I absolutely LOVE the myriad of settings but I would like to have a reset option to clear any changes I've made to my Textra app while I'm inebriated... 🤣

  10. When invoked by Phonebook etc., default to compose box, rather than add contact.

    When I try to send a text message from Phonebook or any third party Dialer and choose Textra for the same, the keyboard comes up, but typing does nothing. One has to click inside the text entry box to enter text. It will reduce a step, if it defaults to the text entry box.
