Folder selection for photo
It would be nice to have the choice of where we Save the pictures we download from message. I would like to be able to Save them on my SD card.

Keyboard with delete left and right
keyboard must have a delete left and right and with up, down, right and left direction, if these are present then typography is fast and error is minimize and not annoying because it will speed up typing with less effort.

Group messages from unknown contacts
I always have a lot of unique messages when I sell something or when I do carpooling. I used to have an application that made a group with all messages from numbers that are not saved in my contacts. Improves readability in conversations list

Bold Font Option
I love the Textra and recently added Gilroy fonts, but they're way too thin, I can barely read them so I'm stuck using System font. Would love to have the option to customize the apps font by making it bold.

emergency alert
Samsung note 8 did not receive emergency alert on Textra. it wanted to go through default message. Might not be a Textra thing but something to point out.

Allow auto trimming (or at least a warning and manual trim) of videos too large to send like Verizon Message+ does
I've been struggling for days to send videos to my girlfriend. once I turned off Textra and went to the default Verizon app (Messages+) it warned me that the video was simply too large to send, and would let me manually crop to sendable sizes so I could cut into segments to send.
it would be AMAZING to:
1. have a warning that the video it too large to send rather than just getting an undeliverable message 5 min later
2. allow auto-trimming of videos too large to send
3. if that's not feasible, allow manual trimming to sendable sizes.7 votes -

Multiple message delete
It would be very helpful to be able to implement delete all menu option. I get regular sms messages from my home devices, while you currently give an option to multiple select, it is odious to select 47 messages after doing a search for deletion.

able to add pictures to your profile
I think we should be able to add pictures to not only our profile but to others. so that when someone texts us we know who it is.🤷♀️🤷🏽♀️. We should also have a ringtone for when someone sends us a text.

Notification icon with letters/numbers
Add letters and numbers for the different notification icons. In general, add more icons since color is no longer an option.

Bring back the "later" button
When you opened the message box from the pull down menu you could tap "later" after reading it and the notification would still be there, now the option is gone

Individual notification icons
Love the new icons in place of the white message. Would be nice to be able to give these icons to individual contacts and not be a one for all.

Night Mode
It seems that the night mode is a little off. One day I'll have it start at 10pm and the next it randomly starts at 5pm. I thought maybe it changed with the time shift but it doesn't do it every day. Even so a better option would be to let us pick the time frame for which it goes into night mode. Every one has different schedules and it would be great to set the parameters for when it goes dark to our specific ones. Thanks

Spam Filter based on content
You can include a spam inbox feature. Take permission from users to use the data from the messages which come from blacklisted numbers. Apply machine learning algorithm to find a prediction function that can filter spam messages. Such messages shouldn't pop on screen rather only show as unread when user opens Textra app. You can also add a "confirm" feature on the spam inbox where if user selects it as confirmed spam then that number should be blocked altogether to be delivered in inbox.
