  2. Group Texts Display

    It would be nice if a group text message would display the person who sent the text last instead of the person who sent the first text on the summary screen before tapping to read the actual message. For example, if "Mike" starts a group message, when you go to the summary page it always shows "Mike's" name first even if the last person to send a text to the group was "Eric". It would be nice to quickly see who sent the last text and not have to open the actual text to figure it out.

    please include a number beside it on the text icon for the number of unread texts. it would be so very helpful. thank you for considering it.

  4. Saved Media File Name

    Media file name should be date when it was received not when it was saved.

  5. Better light theme

    The light theme needs some work. Could you make it look the same as Android Messages? I don't know why but something seems off about it.

  6. Timed Mute

    Allow muting text/ conversations for set times like Facebook Messenger. currently we can only toggle mute on or off.

  7. please block iOS liking a txt

    no idea how you can possibly do this, but iOS users liking a txt, annoyingly repeats the whole txt back and serves no useful purpose. ok, that may be 60% rant, but still, you deserve an award if you can figure a way to stop this before it really gets out of hand. thank you.

  8. more per contact customization

    I absolutely love the customization by contact, it's one of my favorite things about this app. But it would be great if you could customize font color and emoji style by contact as well. Font color for contacts with harder to read colors and emoji style for iPhone contacts.

  11. 'Return/ Next line' on Keyboard

    Is there a way to have the option to switch the 'Done' button to a 'Return/Next line' button on the keyboard so that lists can be made or text separated like on the Samsung phones keyboard.

    Love this app!! Can we get more color choices for the notification icons? Or even the ability to apply the theme color you have chosen for a contact to that person's notification?

  14. Custom font color

    There are some color schemes that force white or black color font. It would be nice to be able to choose what we want and be able to chose different colors

  16. Quick copy code button

    I get SMS texts all the time with codes to log into various accounts. when the codes are short, it's easy to quickly memorize the number but for those longer codes, it would be great if there was a "copy code" button.

  17. Make it possible to open large write box

    When write a very long SMS, it's would be nice if it's possible to open a large window on the screen so the keyboard are in the button and the write window fill the rest of the screen over the keyboard (see how GO SMS Pro have made this).

  18. Tasker plugin

    Tasker will lose the ability to SMS thanks to Android Pie permissions. I propose Textra builds a plugin that interfaces with Tasker to allow it to continue SMS functionality.   19. Delete selected messages

    I'd like to see a way to select all the messages to be deleted but then un- select ones that you want to retain. It's too hard to do this individually. it's either all or none.
