  5. Lock Screen needs to be simple like Samsung and HTC etc.

    The drop-down notification on the lock screen covers the time on the HTC m8. it just isn't convenient. I hope you guys can change it to a simple lock screen notification where it is shown along side the call notification.

  7. Add ability to search a contacts name, not just content of text messages.

    add ability to search a contacts name in the search feature. if I type "Chris" it only searches for that text in the actual text message and not the contact's name.

  11. swipe from left to exit message column: the gesture should follow your finger, not follow thereafter

    when you swipe from the left side to get to the message list, it is delayed. id like it to be similar to the imessage implementation, where the transition follows your finger, wherever it may be.

  13. Use shading or an arrow to identify the last message in a conversation as sent or received in the conversation list

    I think it would be beneficial to look at the conversation list and know whether I had the last word or if the other party did. Brief message like "K" don't allude to the author of the last post. It would be an effective way to determine whether you need to reply to a conversation without going into the thread.

  14. Slide to open floating notifications instead of tapping.

    floating notifications are great but they get "tapped" accidentally when my phone is in my pocket. it would be nice to have the ability to override the default settings so that only a slide down will trigger the quick reply/open application.

  17. Copy and Paste when websites are sent

    Example:
    I am sent the website www.textra.me by a number
    If I attempt to copy the link to for example, save it in my notes, or for example send it to someone else, the app wont let me. It automatically opens up the website. With plaintext, you can simply long press the text and it will give you options, this is not so with links

  18. Removing the notification from the top bar/drop down menu when swiping on the drop down menu as opposed to marking it as read

    much like the stock app allowing the user to simply remove the notification without opening the message in the drop down menu
