Blacklist Just Area Codes
I keep getting Spam text msges from #'s beginning w/877. 2-4 a day. I keep blacklisting the different #'s but what's the point if I can't BLOCK THE AREA CODE?

option to sort by read/unread messages
Right now unread messages are mixed in with read, just all ordered by time. It would be nice to have the option to sort by unread so that unread messages stay at the top and read messages are sorted after, and they are both sorted by time respectively but aren't mixed together.

Folder Organization
I would love to see an organization update.
this update would include the ability to create "Sections" (example, Family, Work, Unknown Numbers). If anyone in those groups messages you then it'll be placed into that collapsible section. Each section would have an order number associated to keep them in the order of most important to the least
along with sections, maybe also include folders concepts as an alternative. it'll still have the regular message list layout, but you can have the option to swipe left/right to go into "organized folders" so you can see people in groups instead of jumbled…

Bigger pictures.
Not a huge deal but it would be nice imo if the pictures/gifs were larger when sent/received. I realize you just tap on them to get the full image but they seem a bit small when first received.

Have the home key function as the 'later' button instead of 'done'
Currently if you press the home key when you get a message this causes the notification to dismiss and sometimes you don't even see it. The home key should put the notification in the notification bar (this is with the popup).

Go back to delete being default option when selecting conversations
In a previous version, when you tap-and-hold a conversation, a delete button would appear on the toolbar at the top. The current version has replaced this with a button to turn off notifications for the selected conversation(s), which I never use. I prefer the option to delete them. It would be better to have the delete button back, or at least the option to decide what option appears on the toolbar.
My preferred behaviour happens if you are inside a conversation and select an individual message, where you get the delete icon. Can we make the experience consistent?

show contact's photo next to name and number when searching or typing person's name when composing a message.
i often have contracts with the same name. when composing a message as i type their name, i get matches appear but i cannot differentiate as i can't see visually which person it is. some of my contacts have photos so it is a useful way to ensure the correct person receives your message!

List texts in notifications with older messaged at the top and most recent at the bottom, like in a text conversation
When i get a text, in the conversation the newest text in the conversation would be at the bottom. However in the notification window, the newest text out of multiple texts is displayed at the top, and it can be confusing going back and forth between reading the two

make the popup match white, dark, or black mode!
With the new popup update, the popup to type in has the dark mode theme. I use textra without dark or black mode and would enjoy if the popup matched what I use to keep it consistent looking. So if the popup could maybe match what mode we have chosen, that'd be cool.
