  1. When using the numeral keyboard why does using the spacebar automatically switch me to the qwerty keyboard?

    Stop the spacebar from auto switching from the numeral keyboard to the qwerty keyboard.

  4. To have my contacts appear as a bubble when I receive a message.

    Just like Facebook's messenger, have the option to have your contacts appear as bubbles outside of Textra so that I can send texts when I am on a different app. And be able to switch from one bubble contact to another.

  5. Option to show only contacts from specific accounts. Galaxy S7 set to show only some accounts. Textra ignores that

    I would like to only be able to text contacts from specific accounts. I configured the Samsung Galaxy S7 to only show contacts from 2 of my 7 accounts. Phone indeed only shows contacts from the 2 accounts. Textra however shows contacts from all 7 accounts, which I don't want

  7. Setting a photo as a backround of messaging

    Inside a mesage where the chat bubbles are, be able to set a photo as the backround. Either a general photo in the background or the ability to set different ones for different chats or groups

  8. Option to change the message color of multiple recipients in group chat so that they are not all the same color

  9. Vote It Up! Colors to the Max - Customize.. But Kept Minimal.

    It would be awesome to have Hex Color Codes. But I would accept more colors especially in the accent section. It'd be killer to be able to add another accent color for the font. If not that then the creative owner could build some badass color schemes.
    Basically just more color options everywhere.

    I'm against adding backgrounds. The current minimal/materialish style is perfect. Just more colors.

    And now I will add some color to my post.

  12. Reverse the order that messages appear in notifications

    Currently new messages (in a single thread) appear at the top of notifications and older ones get pushed down. This is opposite of all other messaging apps and I constantly read the latest message first instead of the order of the conversation. Since English readers read top to bottom

  13. Easily text someone not in my contacts.

    I need to be able to text a number without having to open my contacts and add the number to my list. Sometimes I get a link to click to text (say ATT) and I can't do it because that number isn't in my contacts already.

  15. Not Hear Notifications When in Text Line

    It would be an option in notification settings. But all I know is I don't need my phone buzzing or making sounds when I can see the text line right there. Also it is just annoying and everyone around you can hear

  16. Manually resize emoji

    With newer high DPI screens it can be hard to tell exactly which emoji are displayed-- they seem to render independent of font size. Wish they displayed at keyboard size!

  20. sending bubble animation needs to go!

    This new " Sooo smooth: send a message to see the new sending bubble animation." has either got to go, or needs to have a setting to turn it off. I customize my phone for speed, not for stupidity. That'd why I purchased Textra. This is by no means an improvement. If I wanted childish animations, I'd buy an iPhone. Please add a way to turn this crap off!
