  1. to have the option to not have old messages deleted

    Some people have messages that they just can't delete because the messages mean alot to them. Some people don't mind messages being deleted as they keep texting the person, but others want to cherish the text message or picture

  3. Enable support for tap status bar scroll to top

    Being able to tap the status bar to get to the top of any list (settings, a conversation, the conversation list, etc.) like iOS would be great. It's been done in an Xposed Installer module (http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/mod-statusbar-scroll-to-t2610647), but it doesn't work in Textra :(

  4. get rid of swiping out of conversations

    We already have a back button on tour app and our phones. Ill be trying to scroll up through a text and then ill be broughtout of the conversation and have to re enter and start scrolling up again. At least make it less sensitive so that i dont exit the conversation by accident

  5. Private inbox plz and reoccurring scheduled messages

    Private inbox is simple, no explanation needed

    And you know those scheduled text messages, give an option to set them on a repeated schedule. Eg Monday mornings at 930

  6. put contacts in a group

    it would be great to have several groups in the app, opposed to the stock groups. that way you can colour coordinate certain people and send to a particular group

  7. More options of the notification box.

    Instead of only getting to change the color, can we get more chioces on what notification icons to choose from instead of just the T in the message box for the top of the screen.

  10. DELETE ALL!!!! Not just all conversation, but all messages!

    If I have many texts and I can see I needn't read them, I should be able to delete all of them at once.

  12. Contacts displayed in New message

    Currently when new message is typed, favorite list is shown, instead of that recent dialed list is much better and useful. I have seen this in godms pro and is a very very useful feature.

    Also along with the names of contacts we need to see the phone number of the contact as well. Sometimes if there are multiple phone numbers for same contact then we are not able to see if it landline no or mobile no or work for example.

  13. Jason thank you for your quick response. i would really appreciate a quick response.

    Notifications are received as a drop down on my main screen, it also helps identify the sender of the SMS. So when there is no time to read some SMS's I slide away notification.
    When I open textra to view the SMS it is not marked as unread. All the SMS that I see says read. The (dot) on the SMS that helps identify read or unread does not appear on the SMS for which I have moved away the notification.
    Please do something.

  16. Support for tinted status bar

    With the recent update to Android L on S4, I noticed that the app still has the ugly gradient status bar from KitKat instead of the tinted one popular with Lollipop's style (see YouTube, Twitter...)

    I would appreciate it if it were updated to provide a more modern and minimal appeal, and just congruent theme as most popular apps have done so already. Thanks, and love the app!

    Such as a different colored light for certain people, allow multicolored themes, make a notification light that changes colors as it's on, changing the backgrounds
