  3. Recognize variation of phone numbers

    I want one thread for the numbers with a little differences like this: +54299123456, 299123456, 299 123456, 299-123-456, +54 299-123456, +54 9 299 123456 etc. That is the same number

  4. Option to replace mic icon with emoji icon

    More people use emojis than voice texting. Having the emoji icon there will allow for adding emojis faster. It's annoying to have to touch the + icon and then emoji icon to add an emoji.

  6. Vibration Notification Patterns

    The default patterns are pretty bad. Long is too long, I never need my phone to vibrate that long. Medium is too much like the default vibrate pattern for an incoming call. Short is fine (although very short). But multiple short should be 3 pulses at most. 4 is too many and gets annoying.

  11. daily auto backup

    Won't it be great if daily auto backup feature is added in textra just like WhatsApp so that after reinstallation or factory reset all messages can be restored? Waiting for this feature because I lost all my messages in factory reset.

  18. Quick compose from text conversation list instead of contact list

    Have you thought about designing the quick compose to start from the conversation list instead of the contacts list?

    What I mean is I'd like to use quick compose to reply back to a person that is already in my conversation list which is usually the case instead of having search for them again from the contact list to send a message. I've used other messaging apps that had quick compose setup like that and it was very useful.

  19. Contact Photos on the side

    It would be awesome if there was an option to see the contact photos next to the messages themselves like how Google Hangouts has them on the sides- otherwise I love the app

  20. Can the App gives option to take live photos or video or record sound?

    When you click on the plus sign to add pictures from the gallery, it also gives access to the video camera or the microphone to allow to take pictures or recording or record sound. That would be great.
