  1. Notification toggle switch to completely turn all notifications (LED, sound, vibrate etc.) from app on or off

    Include one master toggle switch for all notifications from app, to turn them on or off.

  3. More Color Options?!

    I would Love to see more, COLOR OPTIONS Under the, "Bubble Style Section"?

    When I click on the, "Bubble Style Section" I ALWAYS have TROUBLE trying to MATCH my, FONT COLORS, with the, BUBBLE STYLE COLORS I CHOOSE, along with, the THEME COLORS I CHOOSE!?

    I Get Really Frustrated, with this SIMPLE, YET IGNORED, & EASY FEATURE??? LOL I don't know? Maybe it's my OCD kicking in, But I Really just want to be able to have The Following Items, ALL MATCH UP:

    *MY BUBBLE STYLE COLORS
    *MY FONT COLORS
    *MY KEYBOARD COLORS

    I believe by adding this Simple, but…

  5. Project Fi

    First off, I love Textra. Have been using it for years and years. Best sms app ever.

    However, when I switched to Project Fi network, I can only send MMS half the time. It bums me out that I have to ask my recipient if they saw the picture.

    For the time, I'm switching to Hangouts. Once you find a patch for Project Fi and MMS, I will switch back to Textra in a heartbeat.

  6. Have an option for favorite contact's to be selected and then listed at the top of thr messages for convenience.

    When yoy launch the app, rather than have the most recent conversation be listed at the top, give an option when we can select a favorite or two that stay at the top of the most recent conversations. I always text my wife, so id like it to be right at the top for quick texting so i dont have to go through the conversations to find her or type her name.

  9. quick access to frequent contact

    With Android nougat versions 7.1.1 there's option to add shortcuts on icons. Please work on that to enable quick access to frequent contact

  10. Floating notifications do not appear when in conversation

    Not sure if this is a bug. While in a convo if a new sms comes in the floating notification doesn't appear. I guess it's good for keeping you on the task at hand but I'd like to see who's messaging and the message. The floating notification works ever time just not while in a Textra convo. Major inconvenience. Otherwise best sms app.

  16. Text input box, privacy, chat heads, pinned icon

    I have tried all of the texting apps, each of which had a fatal flaw... except Textra. Though not perfect, it does come close.

    Here are a few things that I would like to see.

    Text input:
    Add the option to customize the text input box separately from other areas. To include the color of it, and adding and adjusting the color of the outline of the box.

    Privacy:
    Option to make individual messages locked. Hide individuals' last message from being visible in the list view. Private inbox, accessible through a hidden means... such as sending a message to "Unlock0000"…

  17. Notification privacy

    New messages from different contacts will have separate cards/notifications. New message notifications can be viewed from the lockscreen with only the contact details/name/timestamp shown. When pulling down the notification, the message preview is revealed. Pulling down further/fully shows a quick reply option.

  19. Send message to calendar

    I would like to be able to send a message to the calendar to create an appointment or a reminder.

    Someone just texted me : "ok see you on Monday 7pm then!" and I would like to turn that message into an appointment somehow. At least a reminder so that I don't forget about it without having to exit Textra, go to calendar, set a new appointment.

  20. Contact Color Rings on Convo list

    in the convo list area, you can see all the people you talk to. if they dont have a contact picture, it shows the icon as the custom color you have them. but with a picture, you cant see their color.
    I think the Contact picture should have a thin colored ring, just to make it easier to distinguish the contacts by color.
