I have another Messaging app which I can use at work. I simply go to the link and scan the QR scanner on the web page and I can "text" from my computer while I'm at work. Can you add this capability?

White icon background is very bad

I use this app (pro user) since long time now.
The last update has transformed background icon in white : I really not like this new style... can u make Anything to have other color than white?

text categories
to be able to create groups of contacts into certain categories like work, friends, business, etc. Samsung messenger just added that feature to there's and it's amazing!

Signature at bottom of text messages
Does this app have a signiture option at bottom of text messages? I run a business and need my signiture/ email and web address after each text.

Wide message display
It displays the message in a narrow strip so the reader have to scroll down a long which is disturbing. I request you to make its sms display screen wide so the user would not have to scroll down long enough.

wild cards for blacklisted
I would like to see a way to blacklist a range of numbers. If I blacklist a number they just use another. ie: 123-???-????

most of the lighter chat colors are still too harsh for my eyes. more pastel options would be wonderful!

Undo button while drafting messages
All too frequently I draft a text message, then accidentally erased a portion of selected text. An 'Undo' feature or button would help recover deletions by mistake. It's 2020 and I've never seen this feature in a texting app. Be the first!

Emoji lists: all or favorites only
I would like to see and use a list of my favorite (a minor subset of all) emojis only which does not mean the recent ones.
List of recent ones may contain some that used once. So a switch between recent and favorites would be welome.5 votes -

Nickname
It would be great if we could change the name of the contact inside the chat, without changing the name of the contact itself.
You could add a function like on ios, something like "always prefer nicknames if the contact has one" or let the possibility of changing the name on a chat like in fb messenger5 votes -
Reinstate "unread message" notification icons after phone restart or app upgrade
If I have unread messages that I haven't seen and Textra gets upgraded to a new version or my phone restarts, the notifications for those messages go away and do not come back. I often miss messages for hours to days because I don't go into Textra to look to look for messages unless there are notifications that I have some unread. There are other apps (Google voice is a good example) that reinstate their "unread messages" notifications after a phone restart. I would like to see Textra do this as well.
