  1. Wifi Texting

    Please allow wifi texting! My carrier service is turned off, and textra will no longer work! I had to download another app so I could text over wifi

  2. Switch between dual Sim should be more difficult to change

    I have two Sim cards but one is usually inactive only for use when I travel. Should Textra be able to know when Sim is disabled and not allow you to change sim1 or sim2 if only one Sim is active. Or it should perhaps not be next to send button because I have accidentally changed my Sim multiple times when pressing send. Maybe it should be up on top of the menu so this doesn't happen. I do think that when one Sim is disable Textra shouldn't allow you to change to that Sim.

    -add themes
    -allow for custom backgrounds

  5. Dual Sim Error

    Hello, I am using textra for 5 years on different phones during this time. Now, I have a Xiaomi Note 9 Pro Android 11 and supported dual sim. But, I can't choice which sim card iş default sms card. Always i have to select during writing a SMS right of the SMS text area. I always must select 1 or 2 icon, right of writing SMS text area.   6. Not receiving notifications for new texts.

    Currently I receive a text and I see the icon in the status bar, but it clears itself after a few minutes. Then when I open the app later I notice I have a bunch of missed texts. This is happening on my girlfriends phone too so I know it's the app.

    Additionally dual sim is messed up because it keeps switching sims and I'm texting people from random numbers which is really confusing for them.

  12. There should be 2 separate options available for text color for sent and received bubbles.

    ...especially when the app is set to use custom colors for every chat. for example I use white bubbles for sent messages and black text. but for received messages it doesn't always fit to have black text say on purple and blue ad pink.. please fix this in the next update. thank you

  16. categories or folders for messages

    an option to create categories or folders for messages would be great. examples like family, work, friends etc. This would make it easier to locate a message thread if you can go to the categories or folders to find messages you need.

    I have been getting lot of scam calls from a pattern, where only last three digits are different and first 7 numbers are same. for example I would like to mute or block 0412345XYZ.

  19. Password protection for private messages

    Enable any contact to be labeled as private and thereafter, any messages sent or received from that contact goes into a private box accessible only with pw.

    Would also be excellent to be able to turn on pw protection for the entire app (to be able to open it at all). WhatsApp has this and it's very simple and effective.

  20. liking messages

    So far with Textra I haven't found or seen anyway to "like" messages. You can on regular android texting and on iphone, but you can't with Textra.

    Will there ever be a way to do that? Or am I missing something?
