    It would be awesome if there was a video call feature added instead of having to use another app and you could just video call any of your contacts.

  2. date format

    It would be great if it were possible to set the date format of received/sent messages any way you like (for example YYYY/MM/DD). Now in the English version of app the date is displayed in US standard.
    Second issue is displaying the full date even in the latest news instead of in example yesterday or week name

  3. Sort blocklist

    Currently numbers on the Blocklist are sorted by...I can't tell. I think there should be a feature added to sort the list by various parameters, for example recency of messages exchanged (sort by newest or oldest first), date added to Blocklist, alphabetical, etc.

  4. translating

    could you please add an option to translate a message to Spanish before sending, and to translate it back to English when receiving? it sounds crazy hard, but I thought I would ask. thank you!

  5. LED Notification colors

    Please add the ability to change the color of the notification LED light in devices that support this (OnePlus/Oxygen OS). Or at least allow option to use native/default notification color!
    Frequency of blink would be another great option.
    This really helps differentiate notifications from Textra to other apps. Would be a really great feature. Even if it's a One-Time pay to unlock option!

  8. dark mode background/txt visibility

    Hi, we have to choose some color sets (text/bckgd) that works good in sunlight (colors are different enough to read the msg) but are bad to seen on dark mode. Can You create a rule that improves visibility, for example 'in dark mode leave txt clear white (FFFFFF)'? And another thing, i have some situations like riding a bike, when I try only to read ahort msg ' i' m waiting 4U at coords:... ' but i cause to small (default) text. Maybe is possible to zoom text size by pressing volume +- buttons?

  10. Auto reply

    Having auto reply when driving or unavailable would be great, allowing it to be setup to automatically detect when connected to your Bluetooth in your vehicle and turn on or when in a meeting turn on manually. Verizon message+ has this built-in and it works great. Adding this to Textra would make it the best and safest texting app.

  12. Add or Remove Recipient From Conversation

    The title says it all! When you select the drop down arrow to view the conversation list. You should be able to click the three dots and have an option to delete a recipient from the conversation or add a recipient to a conversation.

    I had a messenging app before that allowed me to create a text to send later, at a day and time if my choosing. I loved that feature and would LOVE to see that offered with this app as well. Is that a possibility?

  14. Show qty of people in all group messages

    Right now, the quantity of people in a group message displays on the colored circle only if none of the people have a saved photo associated with them.

    That qty number is super useful, and I'd like to always see it for all group messages. Right on top of the photos, or maybe as a subtext to the side.

  15. Change Conversation Name

    Currently the conversations are named based on the phone number. I would like to have the ability to add something to the phone number or completely change the naming of the conversation to something that is more descriptive of who I am talking to.

  16. Custom MMS Size Limit

    Currently the MMS Size Limit is selectable from a pre-populated list. It would be helpful for this to have a custom value option, because (for example) a Mint Mobile plan allows up to 5MB attachments, vs the Textra highest value of 2MB

  17. Limit # of notifications per time period

    If someone texts me 10 times in 30 seconds, I don't need 10 separate notifications. I would love the option to limit that
