    With the new texting app for iPhone, you can draw messages and send them as pictures through text. I would love the ability to do this in Textra!

  3. Please add an option to set a message to be sent in the future.

    You need to remind someone of something, why not set a future sms to be sent at a certain time of your choise?

  5. Emojis with predictive and instinctive writing

    There are soooo many emojis now...! And that's great, but it is also very hard to find one when you think of one in particular. So, it would be awesome (and could save loooong minuts of research in all the emojis) if when you type a word, an emoji appears. For example, if I type lipstick, the lipstick emoji appears. This is the only thing that I think is missing on this amazing application!

  8. sms via Bluetooth

    Add sms via Bluetooth so I can text hands free in my car. I was able to do this on my windows phone and it's the feature I miss the most!!!

    The ability to send scheduled messages to your contacts, with a certain time and day would be ideal. (for example: to wish someone a happy birthday or a certain holiday every year)

  11. Click to retry sending SMS now

    This may be a city issue, but when I'm texting on the subway, I get very splotchy service. When sending messages and you lose service, you get the 3 blue dots, saying it will try to send again in some(who knows ?) timeout. well when you get service again, these are not suddenly or quickly sent and it waits for the timeout or sometime they get stuck in timeout limbo and you just have to delete them later (maybe that's a bug)

    There should be an option to click on the message and "retry now" that overrides that timeout (which…

  12. Default number selected in case of more numbers for one contact

    If I choose my custom group for sending sms, i get all number because contacts have more phone numbers defined. Can be added the option to autoselect only defaulted/prioritized number for each contact as it is in classic android sms sending?

  13. Make it easier to access contact info

    currently, if I want to access the contact card for the person whose conversation I'm in, the option is buried away within multiple sub menus up on the top right corner. if I tap on the contact name above the conversation, that should open up the contact card.

  15. Please add screen color options

    I am not fond of the dark or black but o can't use the white as it is pearcingly bright. please allow us to add background images or at least other color options other than just black, dark and "light" (which is just white).
    Please please please!!!! I am a paying customer. I would really hate to change textra for another app.

    change the cover picture for an MMS group message to something from your phone so it isn't just a grid of contact pictures.

    I don't know if it's possible... But implementing built-in games to the Textra experience? Being able to challenge other Textra users to simple built-in games. I think that'd be pretty cool (if it's even possible!)

  18. Show contact name instead of the number

    If you get a SMS containing a phone number already in the phone book, Textra should insert the name of the said contact. Example: my provider sends me SMS saying the number 123456 is available again. Or, you have a missed call from 987654. It would be great to glance at the message and have all the data available. Qksms and Yaata have this.
