  1. undo

    I would like an undo feature. Most annoying is if I accidentally have pasted a large text, into a message. Cumbersome to delete afterwards.

  2. Option to disable built in emojis/gifs

    I use Google keyboard and having the built in emojis-gifs causes more clutter

  4. Mark as Read

    Would be great if on phones running Nougat there was an option to 'mark as read' in the notification next to the quick reply button, as sometimes it is inconvenient to have to open a message in order for it to be fully dismissed

  5. why is it so hard to edit, remove, add contacts. Would be great if it was easy and straight forward

    Can we group messages based on their nature like, banking, payments, etc.., the bank payments, online shopping are cluttering my SMS box.

    It would be cool if you could make different bubble colors for different people so they aren't all the same. It would also be cool if the bubble colors could blend into multiple colors.

  11. non-mms group messages

    it would be great to be able to send group SMS and not have it auto concert to MMS. In UK we don't really use MMS that much and most carriers charge.

  12. More text colors

    Right now it's all shades of black and white. Given the new pure black bubble addition, I'd like to migrate all my contacts into having pure black, but I want colored text in order to do that since I have the pure black background. I don't want everyone having white text like I do. It adds a lot more flexibility to customization to have more color selection. You could even theme someone's conversation to their favorite sports team (I.e. Blue text and a red bubble, or vice versa).

  13. Play a sound when SMS/MMS is received by recipient

    (First, sorry for my bad English)
    If Delivery Report is enabled, it may be cool if we can choose to play a sound when the message is received by the recipient :)
    A bit like the sound played when the message is sent.

  14. Custom made ringtones

    This should go without saying but please add ability to choose custom ringtones, such as audio files stored on the device. Being limited to stock ringtones is a serious limitation for an app with so many options.

    In message list view, the highlight dot that indicates a new/unread message is barely noticeable.

  16. Support for Galaxy S8 Screen Size

    Textra operates well on the Galaxy S8, but the larger screen size leaves gaps on the top and bottom of the screen. Support for the 18:9 aspect ratio would be awesome.

  17. Option to not have messages detected by car as marked as read

    I would like the option to not have my messages received while connected to my car Bluetooth marked as read. Since I am not going to respond to the message while driving, I would like the notification to stay on my phone so that I know to get back to the message later

    pls put a sim 1 / sim2 button on the msg panel so that the app is able to distinguish what sim to use this app is reall really great i hope you can fix this thanks

  20. Text Alerts

    Need ability the app to set an alerts for specific keywords/hashtag in the recent messages, so i can set alert notifications.. much useful as panic texting for elder and also texting friends at moments of emergency.
