    I would love to be able to use Google Reply to allow Google AI to populate my response with predetermined answers based on incoming message. already integrated with Gmail, WhatsApp, Android Messages

  2. Import messages from default messaging app

    I know textra does this when you first install amd open the app but if you get a new phone and install textra before restoring all your messages there's no way to tell the app to look again and import the messages from the preinstalled messaging app.

  3. Press hold word to add to custom dictionary

    You can press hold a word to delete from dictionary, why not be able to press hold a word to add to dictionary. Ex:Remove Sherry to add Cheri

  4. Tap Contact Bubble to view Contact Details quickly

    Currently it requires 4 taps to get to a Contacts Details, where I can view call history and info. It would be a welcome quality of life improvement to jump straight there by tapping on a contact portrait while looking at your conversation list to jump straight into those details.

  5. Custom hours of night mode

    Hi,
    I would love you to implement a feature to custom the hour when the theme goes night mode (by default it's 22h, but I would like it to do it sooner)

  6. If it's possible. It'll be great!

    I would love to have a game through text like iPhone has. Simple stuff like tictactoe, hangman, connect four, etc. where I play my turn, send it, then it's their turn.

  7. Auto backup

    Auto backup to Dropbox or Google Drive. I had to do a factory reset on my phone and lost years of text messages. I thought your app backed up automatically. I'm very UPSET!!

    MMS costs money, sms is free... So why does textra send MMS if I have two recipients??

    How about PC desktop program that sync's text between all devices. So we can text using actual cellphone number, from PC, tablet, or phone.

  14. Colour of icon when sharing

    I've noticed that whilst you can change the colour of the icon on your home or apps screen, this colour change has no effect on the icon when selecting it from the share to apps selection screen. it remains the default colour blue if need be I can share a photo of this

  16. Yes, Signatures need some TLC!

    I agree, I came here to suggest this, actually. I see some have commented.
    The signature does look like a part of the text. (First, I know other apps separate and/or italicize them. You can choose fonts. Second, I refuse to use any other app but TEXTRA!)

  17. dark skin family emojis

    one thing that bothers me across all emojis app or whatever... is that the family emoji are all white... they cant be changed to any other shade. as if Caucasians are the only one that have families.... be a game changer and support your different supporters make your family emojis different shades like the others, thanks guys.

  18. Text to Speech

    It would be awesome to add an option so that you can speak out the text in a bubble by pressing on it like you have it in your other texting app, ChompSMS. Sometimes like when I'm driving or busy working I can just listen to my text instead of having to read it
