  2. Amber alerts?

    The stock messaging app has settings to turn on or off Amber and emergency alerts. Does Textra support alerts? Also, no presidential alerts??

  3. copy paste images

    in addition to copy paste texts, the ability to copy and paste images without having to save in gallery. I don't want to save images, just post them to different groups without having to retype every recipient in the group

  5. Safety First

    Many states have laws against texting while driving. How about a driving button which sends an auto text, "Sorry so and so is driving right now and can't respond"

  6. group messaging

    when i send group messages i usually only see the replies to myself instead of within the group chat. I've tried changing the settings to fix this. also, it would be great to be able to edit the people on a group chat (add or remove)

  7. Move the "SEND" button

    the send button is placed at the end of the typed text. sometimes when you go back to correct a word and then want to return to where you were typing, if the line was full you can easily send prematurely.

  8. turn received text into a Samsung or Google reminder

    sometimes I get a text that I want to be reminded about at a later time. with the Samsung messages app I can turn a text into a reminder. it's a nice feature. we're all getting older. the demand for a feature like this will only get greater as the user base ages and forgets things! :) Thanks for a great app.

  9. More customized control of audio playback

    It would be super useful to be able to skip forward/backward in 5 to 10 second increments on audio messages or even just be able to seek by pressing on the track bar. This is mostly because if the screen turns off when playing, you have to restart from the beginning, which is super annoying. So also making audios play even if screen turns off or at least remember where they were.

  12. One time password should be displayed in bold like how true caller had implemented

    OTP messages which we receive from banks etc should be displayed in bold. So that we can use the OTP, without having to open the full message.

  13. Turn off Notification Sound

    Basically, add an option in the settings to turn off the notification sounds for all messages until turned back on. I would find this feature useful because I would like to turn my notifications off at work due to how many messages I frequently receive. Normally, I would turn my phone volume down, but I've lost several phones at work due to not being able to hear them ringing when calling from another phone to help locate it. So if a feature like this is added, I would be able to silence text notifications while leaving my phone ringing volume…

    Please make a popup window direct on the screen, when receiving a SMS, so it's possible to read an answer a SMS without any push to open the received SMS (see how GO SMS Pro have made it).

  15. I SERIOUSLY NEED HELP, PLSS

    I am a dumb stupid teenager, and as dumb stupid teenagers do, I locked myself out of my phone. One of the last few text messages I sent myself contained my phone password in it. And like the idiot I am that's the only place I wrote down my password... It's on a phone I can't get into now, because I don't have the password. Please, if you're able to go back through my texts, help me. I'm about to lose all of my pictures and information on my phone because the only other way to get the phone back…

  16. Send Delay

    I think having a setting I could turn on or off that would keep a text from sending for like sixty seconds or longer so I could delete it if I have the wrong contact. it could end some embarrassing moments. this is probably something only in movies but I would also like a self destruct option

  17. Predictive Reply

    When a message is received, pop up some quick responses based on prior texts in the thread. When you tap on them they automatically send. This is found in Android Messages and is super convenient.

  18. Wider bubbles for improved view and navigate experience..

    Can you widen the text bubbles to nearly full overlap (say 95% overlap)? 

    Because they are too narrow right now, the unused real-estate forces users 
    to scroll up and down (unnecessarily) to see text, and this is especially 
    true when they scale up the font size (like I do).

  20. Own photos for the screen

    instead of your present colors for the screen it would be nice if you could make a way for users to use there own photos as the background and set specific photos for specific conversations. Example: your messaging a group of friends and the background is a photo of you all.
