  1. Favorite Contacts

    When you currently favorite a contact, you can see all the numbers that are associated (mobile, home, work). we should be able to choose a specific number to appear so it's less cluttered!

  2. Additional Keep Idea

    Instead of specifying how many messages to keep only, have option to keep by age.
    Like say keep last 7, 14, 30 days, an maybe say 3 months.
    Would be VERY helpful for me at least. Especially since number in given time frame varies.

  3. MMS delayed download

    I don't have the best cell reception in the building where I work. Can there be a way to have a MMS button, when you receive the message to download at a later time? Like say when you get connected back to the network.

  4. Pinch screen to increase/decrease

    Pinch screen in and out to increase and decrease font size in conversations, just like how you can do that with the default messaging app on android. Love this app otherwise.

  5. colored notifications

    I have found a way to change the color from white to another color. if you go into a contacts messages settings and change the contact color the notification icon will be that color

  6. More people in a group text

    I am in need to be able to text more than 10 contacts at a time in a group text. I supervise close to 45 people and when I need to send a group notification I have to copy and paste several times to accomplish this.
    My supervisors is group is of 16, the administrators group is of 12 so as you can see I really could use this feature.

  7. Sport Notification Icons!

    Include a selection of sporting icons-balls (basketball, volleyball, football, baseball, SOCCER!) and other representative icons like skates, bicycle, skateboard, surfboard, hockey, cricket, lacross, etc.

  8. Phone call

    Great app. But I miss a function to make a phone call when I am in a sms message. Now I have to leave the sms app and go to the phone app find the person and make the call.

    When choosing to forward a message, automatically insert FW: prior to the copied text. Make a toggle to enable/disable.

  10. Set up inbox for strangers

    Add ability to automatically put sms from a strange person to stranger box. Stranger is a person who is not from our contact list, in this way Textra will look more clean and easy to use.

  11. Grouping of messages

    u should add a feature in which we can make groups of mesaages like i want to make a group of service message beacuse carrier network sends a lot of messages and fill my inbox. i want to separate them from my other personal messages. those group titles should not be mentioned or listed in inbox list instead the title of groups should be added in the title bar of textra making a timeline so that when i swipe right next group open.it will sort the mesaages and easy to find mesages later.

  12. replying on lock screen on android

    it would be cool to allow quick replies on the lock screen for android :)
    it'd make replying a lot quicker and easier so we don't have to unlock the phone just to reply!

  14. Secure, Encrypted Messaging Option

    I think there should be an option to be able to encrypt and send secure messages. Maybe make it an option when you click the 3 dots on the top right of the screens dropdown menu. And I believe these kinds of messages should be separate from the normal messaging kind of like how Facebook has its "Secret Conversations" feature. Finally, I think these messages should also be protected from others viewing them by locking all these kinds of messages with a password authenticator. (Password, Passcode, Fingerprint, ect.) Maybe make it a separate purchase after pro, people would buy it.…

    on the lock screen, see only the name of the person who texted you but not the content of the message

    there are persons who use many numbers and it's better if their contact number is shown immeditely at the bottom of the their name when they text so that I can easily know what number they used.

    My bank can send me the information I need. But he can send me unnecessary information. I would like to have a message filter.
