  1. Opt out option.

    Hi there should be a way to opt out of a group message. when someone adds me to a group message, I don't want to see everyone's response all the time.

  2. auto forward?

    some people use two phones or more. sometimes we need to forward some msg to other people or other phone. like ones from banks etc to other coleague. this feature would really help. thanx if you gius can make it happens

  4. Reset or forget thread customization.

    I tried setting a unique vibration pattern for a specific thread (I texted myself)—and it worked really well. I then deleted the thread. Upon texting myself again, I discovered that it had "remembered" the previous customization I'd set.

    On the one hand, this is a good feature. But, on the other hand, if you frequently change default settings that can be overridden by customization, and you customize multiple threads, managing everything could become difficult. At some point, you'll have to simply "select" every thread and customize them all at once—negating the value of a default setting.

  5. Popup message

    Please improve on the popup feature. Have a separate window popup over whatever is being done instead of just in the notification bar. Also have it turn the screen on and popup when the phone is not on.

    The ability to have chat heads would be really helpful. I like the floating notification but to have chat heads would be awesome!

  9. BUG of Search

    In version 3.39, this feature was added: "In the search screen, you can now long press rows in the search results to do collective actions, like Delete, Lock, Unlock and Share as Email."

    I just used one of the delete features to select and delete all the search results, but when I returned to Textra and found that the message just deleted is still there and is empty after opening.

    Need to re-delete or use Resync Textra, these blank messages will disappear.

  11. Notification timeout

    If someone sends you a bunch of texts in quick succession, it can be really annoying to have the notification sound repeatedly play...especially when driving, working, or listening to music.

    It'd be nice to have an option to suppress multiple notifications for the same conversation if I've not checked it yet. Something similar to "Send me notifications for conversations I've not looked at a maximum of once per minute" with different time interval options (e.g., once per 30 seconds, once per minute, once per 5 minutes, once per 10 minutes).

    I'd love to see a slight spacer to separate my pinned contacts from the rest below like Pulse had. - Don't worry, I love Textra and am not going back!

  16. Suppress Notification of Multiple Messages

    Often times, SMS messages are split into multiple messages if they are too large. many people send books creating upwards of 4-5 messages post-split. When this occurs, the phone goes crazy ringing 5 times at once. It would be nice if there was a feature to suppress multiple notifications within a time period (say, 5 seconds.)

  17. Swipe and keep it unread

    When i get sms, and swipe it out of the notification bar, it is marked as read. So when i go into inbox, message is marked as read instead of unread, which can remind me of one message that i didn't replied.
    Many times i forgot to reply just because it is marked as read.

  20. ***Choose default messaging phone number. Google Voice*******

    The settings in Textra has a section of changing the mobile number (Sim), but even if you change the number it still texts from the Sim number. I use my Google Voice number as my main phone number now and it would be Awesome if you can choose which phone number to make and receive texts from. For security issues, it can make you verify that the number is yours. I just absolutely LOVE Textra and I hate that I have to message through the plain old Google Voice app. PLEASE consider allowing us to make Textra the messaging app…
