Mark As Read
Please add the support to mark as read directly from notification on android L to O like how google messages do. Its really useful. Thanks.

Resend message button
Especially with T-Mobile wifi calling, sometimes texts get "stuck" spinning with the three dots and never send even when I regain signal. the fix for this is to copy message contents, delete the message, paste it into the box, and send the new text. a single button for all of this in the long press menu would be great!

The dictionary needs to be fixed. The word suggestions arent even words! It is offensively BAD.

Fitbit Notification
Since switching to Textra, I no longer get text notifications on my fitbit Alta HR. I miss them & would love to get them back.

phone number
put phone number of contact somewhere beside his name because some contacts have more than one phone number and I must know which number I am messaging to.

Notifications
As a future update, it would be better if Textra didn't mark received messages as Read simply by clearing your notifications. I don't like to have a ton of notifications hanging each time I look at my phone so I clear them. The problem is if one of those are from Textra for a new text message that's been sent to my phone, it gets marked as read and then I'll forget to read it later.

Conversation Boarders
I would really enjoy it if there could be a setting for boarders around each conversation. What I'm talking about are the lines between the conversations that separate them. If this one thing could be added, this would be the perfect messaging app for me. Thanks!

quick delete button & new icon
add a delete button in the notification window. let user easily delete useless msg by one click
design an way better and cooler app icon that makes user like to download it in the first place. the current icon sucks !

Mute all
A button from the main screen to allows to mute all notifications until turned back on

Back up settings
Please please allow you to do a back up with settings I don't necessarily care about my text messages but back up all the settings and colors in have set up. Like how nova launcher gives you the ability to do so. It is a huge time saver when you get a new phone.

Contact sort
Sort option for contacts. I want to sort contacts by last name! Your default is first name sort. Business users sort contacts by LAST NAME! PLEASE!

I would like to see how many days ago a specific message was received. So in addition to seeing

Tabbed emojis like whatsapp
Please provide tab in the emojis according to category instead of scrolling down so much to search emoji. It would be a plus if you guys also provide emojis search.

# of Messages in Thread setting
currently, if you swipe to the left, you can see the number of messages. make it a setting or choice to have to appear somewhere else like in the title of the thread or in the conversation at the top
