  1. Settings - Your Mobile Number

    What does it mean if in the settings 'your mobile number' you have the wrong cell phone number.

    i.e. my cell # is: 253-xxx-xxxx but in the settings it was listed as 206-www-wwww

    Would this send the message to both numbers? How did the wrong number get listed in this setting?

  2. Custom Notification Sounds

    I am on a list of people who can get emergency text messages in the middle of the night. I would like to be able to customize did notification sound for that particular source of text messages. maybe Textra already has a way of doing that, but I haven't been able to figure it out. if there is no way to do it I would like that to be a future feature.

  3. Show whether contact is texting from personal or work phone

    I have contacts in my address book with. both personal and work numbers. Sometimes I have to message them to only their personal number or only their work number. it would be useful if the message thread view made it clear whether the recent messages are from the work number or the personal number.

  5. Browse fire supported file types

    This functionality would allow the user to set any supported audio for notification sounds no matter where they're located. I find that all texting apps search only soporific folders which doesn't always work.

  6. scheduling should not be reset

    Hello, this app is an engineering pearl! But the scheduling of the draft is reset to "now" when leaving the current "conversation" to the "conversations list" then re-entering this "conversation" (marked with "draft"). I would prefer preserving this SMS scheduled datetime.

  8. Improved Dark Gray

    The current dark gray colour seems lighter than normal. I suggest to use the #121212 dark gray its much better and is used in the dark mode per material design standard

    it would be great to support heic image format. right now it partially support it. it doesnt keep the rotation but at least you can send a mms

    you should have the ability in settings to turn off filtering for curse words. Also there's no Info like time sent, date etc available when you press on a message.

  15. Complete app face-lift.

    My idea is basically giving the app a good face-lift much like Google has done to its Play Store recently. It kinda looks Textra's anesthetics are aging. But keep the colors customizable.

  17. Seperate Pictures From Text

    Like I said a few times this is hands down the fastest and overall best texting app on Android!! One feature would clean it up and make it more "professional" when you draft an MMS the picture is grouped with the text not seperate on a different line like WhatsApp, iMessage, and Google Message. It still works the same but not not as clean.

    Thanks for a great app that you guys keep updating all the time.

    when the app is open and someone texts i see the message body but the pop up box just doesn't show their name til i click on box and open it.
    seems like it used to show at one time.

  19. Method-Blocking

    I think, because of the enormous amount of scam texts & calls, there should be a way to block ALL Email communications and only allow Phone Numbers. This way, scammers with random email addresses (used to prevent blacklisting) won't even show up. This could be done client-side, where the messages show up if opened elsewhere, but are hidden in the Textra app.

  20. Group MMS options

    It would be awesome if the bulk and chat options for MMS were by each text, because sometimes you want an all reply and sometimes you don't.
