  1. Allow customization of failed notification sound

    The changelog for version Version 3.22 says "Failed Notifications (e.g. Mobile Data is off when receiving an MMS) now play a (failed) ringtone". The tone that's currently used isn't the notification sound I chose in my Textra settings, and it isn't the default notification sound for my device -- I can't even figure out which sound it is, much less change it to something else. Is there a way to change this?

  2. SMS programmed

    Which will allow to make important SMS in advance, if one forgets to forget, the person writes to be sent in a few minutes or hours. TANKS.

  4. When will we get Auto-Reply?

    Auto reply when driving is not simply a nice feature it really is a safety issue. It looks like many people also want it, especially if you add up all the different ways people have been asking for this. Please make it happen or I'll be forced to consider a different text message option. This is more important than the last two silly updates about web snippets and what you will and will not show.

    Get this working and make this app on par with other apps that have it and you will have a superior app.

    it will be great that blacklisted message move to spam folder and be readable .
    it is possible that we sent message to blacklist by mistake .
    it should be a way to read an recovery that message again

    Sort contacts last name first. This sort option is so common don't understand why Textra hasn't offered it yet!

  11. Custom "Contact Picture" for Group Chat/MMS

    The ability to set a custom "contact picture" for a group chat (like the custom name feature) would be fantastic! Custom naming is one of my favorite textra features, and I'd love to see the same for the contact photo displayed for group chats.

    Hi there should be a way to opt out of a group message. when someone adds me to a group message, I don't want to see everyone's response all the time.

  13. auto forward?

    some people use two phones or more. sometimes we need to forward some msg to other people or other phone. like ones from banks etc to other coleague. this feature would really help. thanx if you gius can make it happens

  15. Reset or forget thread customization.

    I tried setting a unique vibration pattern for a specific thread (I texted myself)—and it worked really well. I then deleted the thread. Upon texting myself again, I discovered that it had "remembered" the previous customization I'd set.

    On the one hand, this is a good feature. But, on the other hand, if you frequently change default settings that can be overridden by customization, and you customize multiple threads, managing everything could become difficult. At some point, you'll have to simply "select" every thread and customize them all at once—negating the value of a default setting.

  16. Popup message

    Please improve on the popup feature. Have a separate window popup over whatever is being done instead of just in the notification bar. Also have it turn the screen on and popup when the phone is not on.

    The ability to have chat heads would be really helpful. I like the floating notification but to have chat heads would be awesome!

  20. BUG of Search

    In version 3.39, this feature was added: "In the search screen, you can now long press rows in the search results to do collective actions, like Delete, Lock, Unlock and Share as Email."

    I just used one of the delete features to select and delete all the search results, but when I returned to Textra and found that the message just deleted is still there and is empty after opening.

    Need to re-delete or use Resync Textra, these blank messages will disappear.
